I’ve just started IF to help regulate my portion control and hunger (I gained back 25lbs out of the 30 I lost last year to bad choices). I am working towards 18:6 with a window from 2-8pm. It’s still all about the calories but the structure helps me mentally.

You took the words right out of my thoughts @CCreinvented!! It would be so great to be back to the person I was just five years ago who was social and outgoing and didn't hide in the house as far away from everyone as possible in shame. Thank you for that. Needed a reminder this morning.

After a rough few weeks and not following plan, I'm back on track. I'd like to get to an aggressive goal of 199.9 by June 1 ... lofty. Let's see what I can pull out with focus in 5 weeks. I'll take 205 with an aim for 195 for the 4th!

^^^^ Can't stress what ConquerandBloom said enough in what's been different for me this time around. I've been off a week at a time and, well, that's ok because I can just get back on the wagon the next day. 3500 calories = 1lb if the scale is up 10lbs did I really eat 35000 extra calories in a weekend, day, etc?

This morning I was about to throw my newish Aria out the window for this same exact reason! I stepped on 10x - yes 10 - because I've found lately that I've had to take 3 readings to get to 2 same readings and all 10 were different by +.5-+2lbs. A mini- goal update: Hallelujah! Finally broke through 25lbs again! So, at just about 77 days in (or 11 weeks), I'm just a bit over -2lbs a week. If anyone does not believe that weight loss is not linear, look at this graph!

+1 for the weekly tool - it really helps me, especially on Weekends when my calories are higher then goal, so it's nice to see that I have a little cushion (land I can look at it from a net OR a total view, so can be realistic too! Go MFP!

As I just checked mini-goal #1 off the list, it's a good time to focus on the next mini-goal: #2 is despite having two trips to the Caribbean planned in the next 2 weeks, I will come back on March 6th and be, at least, today's goal, if not 4.3lbs less! That means moving more, less alcohol and no to ALL the food.

An update on this fine Friday morning from my MFP feed: :smile: Shout it from the roof tops: I am below 220 (219.6!!) and down 22lbs since Jan 1!!!! WOO HOO!!! FIRST mini goal obliterated!!!! Yay!!!! A HUGE thanks to all of you MFP peeps for keeping me sane, motivated and just being generally AWESOME!!!!!

Count me in and add me too! I'm down 21lbs as of today from Dec 31 and have another 20 to get back to Onederland and then 40-50 to get me back to a fighting weight of 150-160lbs on my 5'5" frame. We can do it!!!

If I eat in the morning, I end up being hungry all day ... I suppose it's all mental ... but breakfast is not a good thing for me when it comes to a healthy way of life. I get my calories and nutrients from meals after around 12pm during the week. During the weekend, when I do eat around 10am, I find my calorie consumption…

Shed another 4.4lbs by the end of Feb to get me over 20lbs lost since 1/1 and under 220lbs for the first time in almost 2yrs! It's so close I can smell it ... Then ... I plot my course for the great Onederland.

Bummer - I've checked the packages of both brands and it has oz and grams but doesn't say whether it's meant to be cooked, raw (thawed) or frozen ... will go with thawed b cause it seems most logical. Oh labels - why do you smite me so!?! :p
