I’m in the same boat I’m 29 weeks and I’ve gained between 15-20 lbs so far but I’m overweight. I don’t want to eat uncontrollably ecause that’s not healthy but I also want to get enough to help the development of the baby. Gah I’m terrified.

I eat what I want. I just make sure to log it, whether it is more or less than my goal. It keeps me accountable and it helps me make better choices because it's not mindless eating. It stops me and makes me think.

For me I know it was important to keep something at hand. Like a book or a puzzle or something you like to do. I have a journal that I write in too. So when I would get hit hard with a bad day. I would write down what I was feeling and then do another activity for a little bit. Then go back to what I wrote and evaluate.…
