Actually @Catti90 thats not really true , to gain muscle you need to be in surplus of calories ( eat more) to lose weight you need to be in deficit ( eat less than you burn ) & to gain muscle you need to be doing Resistance training ( weights ) ask your trainer friends to talk to you about CICO calories in calories out ..

??? who is Kathy and did you mean to start a new thread & who is they ?? Put your stats into MFP and see what is says very rarely does it do 1200 as that is the lowest limit for women that mfp will set . Also you will have exercise calories when you workout eat back some of those also .

hi Start with free, it's got everything you need and more in it , not sure i'd even use the couple of extra bits with the premium version . Since Feb 2016 everyday it's a great tool and there are challenges and lots lots of info available I think it's great

Buy a set of kitchen scales weigh everything don't use cups and spoons to measure they are inaccurate , use weight by grams it's the most accurate .…

Awesome job you've done so far love the pic file ... As they say you should be able to have everything in moderation plan for it have it enjoy it that's what life all about .... Again most of us don't eat back all our exercise calories , give it a couple of weeks there are lots of really helpful people on here good luck

I don't log to be accountable to anyone else only myself , my dairy is open & i eat ok to good a lot but still have chocolate whenever i want etc i just plan better now & don't totally pig out , I never stop & think about what others will think of my food day when i'm eating or later .. What keeps me accountable is myself…

Congratulations your done so well , Maybe it's time to shake up your exercise do some toning ,build strength,get into a gym and do some weights and some ab workouts or check out Itube there are heaps of good ab workouts to try at home or yoga for toning and core strength good luck

If you know where you are going check and see if the cafe / restaurant has online menu's , that way you can check before hand what the calories in the meals are . If your at family then check whats on the menu so to speak for dinner etc and log the recipe into mfp . You could also buy good healthy snacks to have during the…
