I hate being hungry, but going to sleep is often my solution to hunger. In my late teens, the people I lived with weren't very good at doing a balanced shop which left me to plan out all my own breakfasts and before I got the hang of it I'd end up with nothing to eat until dinner on the weekends. My solution to this was to…

@vanityy99 I use a cup as well. I first tried the Mooncup and it didn't work very well for me, it was too large for what I have in there and I found it very difficult to clean because of the design of the airholes. I switched to a MeLuna cup a couple of years ago and I've never looked back, they have far more sizing and…

I'm 5'1 and aiming for between 112 and 119. MFP thinks I'm already at goal since I'm using the method of eating at goal weight maintenance but I'm around 124lbs right now.

Oven fries, I'd need like a 200g serving along with the rest of my meal to feel satisfied and that's like 400 calories. Not worth it for me. Also oven pizzas, a minimum of 800 calories for something not even particularly filling.

I assume this is an increase in physical activity for you? My guess would be water retention for muscle repair. Scale weight doesn't go down in a linear way, I weigh daily and it's not unusual for my weigh ins to jump a kg or so between days with a stable activity level. I think you need more time to judge whether it's…

I have to move mine, the only good place for it to sit out is in my bathrooom. However, the bathroom has slate tiles and isn't an even enough surface to weigh on, so I move it into the wood floored hallway and then put it back.

What are they putting in a whopper in the US to make it that many calories. I'm in the UK and a whopper is 540 calories, and it's 280 for a medium fries so you can have a whole meal for 820 calories.

Bananas and celery, because I hate them

Tummy, arms and back. I still had chubby arms even when I was 16 and 110lbs so I'm not convinced i'll be fixing that one.

I have a fitbit and the mobile app takes forever to update my exercise calories. Yesterday it did something very weird and tried to tell me I'd burned over 1400 calories with around 8000 steps, so i'll just ignore that day.

I gained around 2.5lbs but I've lost it again now.
-
I didn't have that much weight to lose, I was only slightly overweight by BMI when I started. I'm down somewhere around 16-17 pounds now and I really struggle to see a difference. I'm at the point where I'm ordering new clothes because some things don't fit me any more, but I'm still convinced I'm one size bigger than I…

I'm around 5'1 and currently 124. I'm not happy here, my current goal is 119 but if I'm not happy there I might try for 112. Body recomposition will probably help me if I'm not happy even at a lower weight.

I didn't start with very much to lose. I think I've lost about 16lbs or so thus far, with at least another 5 to go. What's helped me recently is just setting my goal to maintain, being as tight as I can manage with my logging, and just trying to leave some calories there on as many days as I can manage. I'm still losing…

I second the clothes fit changes mentioned above. I personally don't have much to lose, somewhere in the region of 20-25 pounds overall. I've lost around 12 pounds over the last year or so and I don't really think I look any different, even when comparing pictures. However this weekend I wore a pair of shorts that I…

I stopped drinking coffee since I would have milk and two teaspoons of sugar. I didn't realise how much more I could've been doing with those calories.

Yep another short girl here. I'm 5ft and 138lbs with a goal of 126lbs. To lose 0.5lb/week I need to eat 1400. be thankful you have so many calories.
-
My Fitness Pal is known to overestimate calorie burns so most people recommend you eat back between 50-75% of them.
-
I'm 138lbs and a UK 10/12

I am quite similar to you height, weight and goal wise (5ft and around 138lbs at the moment with an initial goal of 124lbs), I set MFP to lose 0.5lb/week so I would have more calories to play with. At the moment it recommends I eat 1400 a day and i'm pretty happy with that and have lost 1lb in 2 weeks, basically exactly as…

I should've expected all the tea comments actually. I've never tried a tea that I liked.

The pasta I have right now has an uncooked serving as 75g and 270 calories. I have no idea how many grams 2/3 a cup is but maybe you do.

If you do it right it is sustainable for most people. Generally the people who have the hardest time are people that come on here wanting to lose weight really fast and they set too aggressive a deficit and end up burning out. Calorie counting and weighing food helps build good habits and plenty of people can get rid of…

If you have the chance to lose on 1700 I'd take it if I was you. I'm so short and if I'm overweight at all, it's only slightly and I maintain on 1600 and lose 0.5lb/week on 1350 (without exercise). I'd love to be able to eat 1700.
-
I just use some semi skimmed milk and a tsp of sugar. Comes to something like 40 calories a cup which I can usually fit in.
-
3lbs a week is a bit too much, 2lbs is the maximum generally recommended and that is only for very overweight people. Are you eating back exercise calories? How are you measuring your intake? I suppose it's not impossible that you're actually underestimating your intake.

The ladies are just more beautiful.

I'm on the evra patch which is similar hormones to the combined pill and I haven't noticed any appetite changes.

I never log my water consumption. I tend to drink water from either pint glasses or 500ml bottles and don't see the point in translating that to cups to meet some arbitrary goal. I still log diet sodas in my diary since some of them aren't as low calorie as they seem. For example, a 330ml diet coke is a single calorie…
