No worries @Sixlees it is so hard when going on vacation but you reset your intentions this week and that is what matters! Proud of @AddieOverhaul for making spontaneous investments in things that will improve her health! Way to go! Glad @jady333 and @alp_19 are joining us this week and wishing you both the very best! Just…

Thank you so much for responding! As long as at least one person is here besides me for the duration of the 16 weeks I am in this with you, but I think there will be several of us that cross the finish line together! 16 weeks is a long haul but I am confident we can make it through this together and appreciate everyone…

The problem with consuming junk food beyond not getting the necessary nutrients is you will likely never feel satisfied and want to keep eating more.
-
Thanks for posting your tips @JeffFit70 I also IF and drink coffee in the morning (usually IF 3-4 days per month between 24 and 48 hours each session) I find following a program of some sort both for nutrition and exercise help me for the consistency aspect and I like programs back by scientific studies for validation I…

I don't think it matters really, although fruits contain sugar so you might want to burn that off during the day while you are active. More important is watching how much fruit you eat and trying to keep your overall sugar level down to under 60g per day. Apples are one of the better fruit choices over bananas as an example

Agreed, you want to put on weight in the form of lean muscle and since it ways more than fat and helps burn fat it is a great option. Check out my diary if you want to see my macros as I am working on putting on weight as well.

I try to do something daily whether that is mountain bike, play tennis, or at a minimum go for walk. However, I do try to hit the gym 3-4 days per week for strength training and cardio. The more I stay active the more I find I eat healthier and by doing something daily it reminds me to eat well also.

Good morning! I hope everyone is off to a great start and if not that is ok as well! Family situations, sickness, and other things can slow us down and throw us off course and even if the first few days didn't go well you can get started today or this weekend. I almost guarantee you that over the 16 weeks someone or…

Awesome job @angiewinner @JeffFit70 and @marolaissa198 You are all off to a great start!

Canned tuna, turkey wraps, sliced cheese, protein bars, yogurt and walnuts, cottage cheese and pineapple, mixed nuts.
-
Two eggs, a cup of steel cut oatmeal, and a protein shake. Oh and the most important thing of all, coffee!!!!
-
My diet diary is open. Somebody commented on how much protein I am taking and I am sure it seems excessive and unless you are really pushing yourself hard in the gym I would agree 1.5g per lb is too much and unnecessary. However, 1.2-1.5 is a good target if you are strength training and looking to maximize muscle growth.…
