A Lidl just opened recently so I'll have to check out the dried fruit. Thank you for the tip. I do have a hot air popper but I'm not satisfied with it. Too many unpopped kernels. I use safflower oil because it helps good cholesterol and can be used in high heat. It's a very light oil; almost the consistency of water.

My best NSV so far? How quickly I've gotten over a cold! It usually lasts for three days and then lingers for weeks afterwards. Now? Five days from the first fever to the last sniffle.

Find a workout/exercise plan that suits your personality. I prefer the outdoors and need variety, so endless hours at the gym? Not for me. It took me a long time to figure that out.

Finally hitting my stride with strength training. Dropped a shirt size. I think even my shoes are fitting looser. And the scale tells me I've only lost 3 pounds. :|

Snack chips are my weakness, especially Doritos Organic White Cheddar chips. My victory? Only eating one serving instead of half the bag. Small victories!

I've mostly given up artificial sweeteners except for the occasional erythritol or malitol, but even those are rare. Believe it or not, I will do a shot of Coca Cola once or twice a year. Small hit of sugar (usually before a long-distance ride) and my soda craving is satisfied.

Hi all! Jen here. Trying to get some control over my bottomless pit. Cycling at a rate of 45-50 miles per week and I'm always hungry. Clothes are fitting better, but the scale tells me I've gained five pounds. Also go hiking if cycling isn't option. Not a fan of gyms, but I go occasionally for some light weight training.

I've been taste testing gels and chews myself for the last year. I'm a fan of Honey Stingers and Hammer Gels (particularly the chocolate and nocciola flavors). I tend to use one an hour after the first two hours. Seem to work pretty well.
