I too have reached my goal, lost 28lb since February. 46 years old, always been a runner but the old adage is certainly true about not being able to outrun your fork. Currently 112 and running faster than I have in 20 years. MFP community is amazing!

Reached my goal today! 5"2, 46 years old. SW 140, GW 112, CW 112. Not sure of body fat but probably around 19%.

I must be in the minority. There are certain trigger foods that I cannot eat any more, or they trigger binges. I've learnt the hard way. So no more Nutella, peanut butter or white bread unfortunately.

Total agree, sometimes wonder if I have actually lost any weight (although my scales say 30lbs)! So I've dropped my target by another 7lb as I'm nowhere near happy yet with how I look

My twins are 14, plus a singleton of 10. And being a single parent has its challenges. Just set yourself small targets, I do it in 5 pound increments. In my opinion MFP is life changing. And remembering that it's not a sprint has massively helped me. As they say..trust the process and the results will come.

This. My 'aha' moment was that I control the food going into my mouth and I can lose weight, despite being 46 and having hugely overweight sister. No, it's not genetics. Nor metabolism.

I run faster. I look good in photos. I feel so proud of myself. I'm an example to my kids. Happiest I've been in years ☺️

Thinking running every day meant I could eat whatever I wanted. And I usually did eat around 2,500 calories per day. Not good when you're 5'2"
