I work nights and have found it's easier to log from when i get up until i go to sleep that way i done get messed up with logging at the weekends .

I went almost a month without losing anything then it just started falling off again this happens to most people and there is no such thing as starvation mode your body burns what it needs when it needs it . Try measuring yourself you may find the inches go when the weight stops falling .

As above i work nights and eat the same as normal its all about staying under your cals. i have my dinner with the wife and kids before work the a normal lunch at 1 am then breakfast at 6.30 when i get home . It is a bit backwards dinner when i get up and breakfast before i go to bed but it works for me.

i work nights mate so no eating late is not bad for you your body burns calories even when you are asleep. As for the logging its a personal choice you can put all your meals under dinner if you want its the logging that's the important bit not under what heading you put it.

keep up the good work and done forget to update your stats as you loose the weight you get less calories each day but you get used to it real quick. well done so far.

I get that every few months so i've kept a pair of my old trousers and just put them on that's when i can really see how far i have come and it snaps me out of it.

As above you are doing great it just takes a bit of time and your weight will go up and down a bit as long as its more down that up .

10,000 steps a day is about 400 to 500 cals according to all the apps i use so you are about right.

You have done the hardest part now it's the long part but you can do it . I was always a big guy and when i was told i should lose 6 Stone i thought that they were off their heads 4 Stone down in a year and i feel great it's been hard but my friends on MFP have helped me through the tough times and praised me on the good…

I've managed to drop 4 stone since feb this year still another 1 to go but with the help of my friends on MFP it's been a lot easier feel free to add allways happy to support people on the same journey .

this app is a calorie counting app just put in all your details then weigh and log all your food and drink it's that easy . good luck
