Dont expect the weight to come off every week weight lose is not linear all sorts of things can slow or even stop it for a time just keep doing what you did in the first few weeks. You can do this if you have a bad day try and remember why you are doing this.

remember caffeine is addictive (i was on 40+ cups of coffee a day) cut down slowly and that will help you not to get the headaches.

If you eat less calories than you burn then you will drop weight you don't need to exercise. Exercise allows you to eat more if you wish and still lose those pounds as well as toning your body and helping you to get fit. Weight loss and fitness are not always the same thing but a bit of a mixture of the 2 is a good idea .

As above mate the hardest part is starting try not to think of this as a diet but more as a lifestyle change i have lost 17kg so far and never thought i would survive on 2700 cal's a day. Now i'm on 1810 and normally have some left over. Always happy to help motivate and offer support FR sent.

Its my sons birthday this weekend so BBQ with friends = lots of alcohol so i have been saving up all my exercise calories from the week and keeping a few 100 normal cals back (not so hard on 1,800 a day) that way i have a bit of room for drinks . I know ill probably still go way over as it starts a 4pm and we all stay up…

I worked out how many calories were in my favorite tipple then just make sure i burn the extra cal's so i can have it. That way you still have your 1,200 calories for food.

If you plan it a week in advance how can it be cheating if i'm going out for a meal like this weekend is my daughters birthday then i either save a few calories each day and add them to the day i'm going out or just do more exercise over the week and add that instead. but i never feel guilty life is for living not feeling…

I go up and down all the time in maintenance as log as i average the same weight over a month im not that bothered.

I just go to the gym more leading up to a party and use the extra calories burned on the day of the party.

If you put your last weight in to this app it will give you your daily calorie intake trust us when we say it works . As long as you put your new weight into MFP each week and then goto settings then update diet and fitness profile at the bottom hit update and it will change the amount of calories for you .

Hi the best thing is to put all your details in first and see what MFP tells you your calorie intake should be . I would then just log every thing you normally eat for the first week or so and don't worry about going over that way you have a starting point.
