Just curious... I am wondering how many men are using this app. I looked at the discussion board and most of the entries that I saw were by women.

I'm a guy using the app. It doesn't bother me. I'm seeing and feeling progress, so who cares what others think? Lt them go to tinder to try to hook up with someone.9

And @henrystock01, for the record, I'm a guy. I think you're right, there do seem to be more women active on the forums.1 -

I've been using this app for that last 4 years but have never posted a comment. I don't feel the need to. Happy to calorie count but don't want to socialise. Some things can be separate. Have a great day.11

Where are the pics?6

I'm a male as well. I don't really socialize per se. Sometimes I ask for two cents and sometimes chime in with it.1

I figure about 5% of the hundreds of thousands of users are men.1

There are quite a few of us. I don't personally use the app but I do use the same process and have since before I found out about myfitnesspal. Since then, I have endorsed it to lots of people.3

I'm a man, yes I am :-)6

Use it but don't have or want friends. I'm busy enough...lol4

I'm sure there are a lot more who use the app than that participate in the forum.7

An interesting point - do more women than men have issues with their weight? Or are women more likely to do something about it like join MFP? Or are we just more vocal in the forums?2 -
I think the women here tend to be more social. There are tons of guys here on the DL. They might not be as chatty, but they're here getting it done. That's cool. MFP is useful whether you socialize or not.5

Statistically speaking yes women have more weight problems then men based on the obese United states stats. But men are having trouble as well i think most men would rather focus on bodybuilding strategies then nutrition and im being all my results right here like the women lol.1 -

Funny...calling it an "app". I use the website, never use the app on a phone. Forgot there was one!1
