I'm 5 feet and weigh 140 lbs. I workout 5 times a week and watch what I eat. People tell me all the time I'm so tiny, but I don't see it. I feel fat and not comfortable in my own skin. What matters MOST is how YOU feel. If you don't like what you see in the mirror no one is going to make you see otherwise.

I weigh my apples and veggies and fruits, but you are correct, I do not weigh my PB, eggs or protein bar. I cut my protein bars exactly in half though LOL. Wow I'm only 5 feet and eat 1350 a day. Makes me wonder if I'm not eating too much since I haven't lost a lb for 6 weeks. I work out 5 times a week, 3 times doing HIIT, twice with a trainer and the other two work outs are 20-30 mins cardio.

Thank you. My husband use to body build and his trainer swears by it. Just for overall performance, digestion, even helps you "go" apparently.

Right now I'm not quite sure since it's been 5 weeks since I lost an oz. I feel smaller, I feel healthier and I'm working out and eating better....overall it's a good feeling. Just wish the scale would cooperate.

When I first started tracking on MFP I also ate 1200 and gained 3 lbs my first 2 weeks. My Trainer told me it wasn't enough food, especially when I workout 5 days a week. I have since upped my cals to 1420, some days 1500 and I've lost 5 lbs in 3 weeks. Don't be afraid to eat a bit more.

Hi, I'm 5 feet also and trying to get to 125 (current is 140). I upped my calories in the last few weeks from 1200 to 1400 and have lost 5 lbs. Just curious, are you working out and how often? Do you watch your macros especially carbs quite closely? how many carbs are you having a day?

At the age of 43 I need to start feeling good in my own skin. Plus my health and feeling stronger. That's what motivates me to lose these last few lbs.

I drink around 10 cups a day, so I go every 1/2 hr or so.....my hubby thinks I have a problem too, but he doesn't drink enough water so he's the one with the problem IMO LOL

hmmmm I've been trying really hard to not go over my carbs and fats, maybe I should test it out and see if that will work for me. Would be nice to just focus on Calories. I only have 15 lbs to lose so I feel I should be focusing on those things. Not sure

I gave up bread and dairy too. Bread because it caused me indigestion and dairy cause my trainer advised me for digestion reasons to stay away from it for a while. I still have a bit of cheese from time to time though. Who can live without cheese!!

It does. I cut it into four so it's easier to eat. The ends get crispy so it's not soggy. I also only put a small tbsp of pizza sauce. When I first started making it it got soggy because I put too much sauce.

I make my own pizza on whole wheat totilla shells. I put pizza sauce, then my toppings, then a bit of cheese and you've got delicious low carb low calorie pizza.
