My son has just bought me the Garmin vivosmart hr. I did a lot of reading up on activity trackers,his girlfriend just got the fitbit blaze,nice but too big and did too much for my liking..and not waterproof. The garmin ticked my boxes and has been a breeze to set up ..hr seems pretty accurate comparing it to my old chest…

Thank you all for your replies :) yes i do intend seeing doc to get back to a physio. I know many people suffer with similar problems so wanted to get some ideas on what others do and you've all been great . When this all started I was able to take my gym exercises into the pool ,squats , lunges, walking etc..but sadly…

im feeling the same ,but I know my exercise is way low due to chronic pain so obviously that's not helping . I'm going to try number 7 as Ive had a few days when I haven't logged and a few where Ive gone over a bit..so here we go off plateau :)) or something like that . Good luck Barb

Hi , please add me as a friend .. I have ongoing chronic leg/back/arm/hand pain from osteoarthritis/spondylothesis/ lumbar stenosis/cervical stenosis and walking upright is pretty difficult lol :) big hugs and hang in there..I was medically retired from a job I loved and saw my fitness activity go down from 4 gym a week/ 7…
