When are your classes? When I had early classes, there was no way that I could workout before them. But If my classes started late morning I felt more energized the whole day if I got a workout in before classes. If your schedule isn't your problem, let your body be your guide. If you're building muscle and replacing fat you won't see results on your scale. Muscle weighs more than fat. You'll start to feel the difference first...looser jeans, etc.

I've been at it for awhile and I keep hitting points where my weight stays the same or even goes up. I found I need to change up my workout routine then. What are you doing?
