I changed my micro settings as I wanted lower carbs, but that's a personal choice- I have mine set to 1300 cal (before exercise) 35% carbs, 35% protein, 30% fat- I set a loss to 1 pound a week which give or take a bit is basically what I'm losing. Wondering what "a lot of carbs is?" I eat about 100 grams of complex carbs a day which doesn't seem like a lot to me- I've gone the super low carb route in the past- did not feel well on that diet.

Guess I'm lucky- I get fat evenly and lose pretty evenly- but the first thing I've noticed is slimmer face, belly and ankles- a lot of bloat I'd imagine- like someone stuck a pin in me :D

I agree- I weigh myself 2-3 times a week and use a trending app as well. If I only weighed myself, say every Friday, I know I'd get discouraged if I didn't see a loss- sometimes I'll go 10 days with no loss, than BAM-down 2 pounds. I never had the handles- I jump, jog, jumping jacks, twists, etc. -put on headphones- it's a nice change from other stuff- I know Bellicon has tons of videos on you tube as well- if you get one, I'd suggest one with Bungee cords rather than springs
