I make a courteous, one time, warning - "I'm about to microwave brussel sprouts." Or, "I'm putting broccoli and cauliflower in the microwave". I travel a lot and work in many different locations. When I know I'm going to be somewhere where the microwave is close to the showroom, and therefore customers, I either eat my…

She was off by 225 calories a day just on the trail mix. For someone with a 250 calorie a day deficit that absolutely will derail weight loss. Another 25 calories on something else and you're maintaining. Another 50, a very slow gain. We don't know her deficit but 225 calories on something you eat every day is a huge deal.

Lost 130 pounds in about ten months last year, maintained for a couple months, down 135 total now. About 90 pounds to go

Yes. No. I wanted to add that kidding aside, I agree with you.

If you're having your blood drawn yearly does that mean your levels are stabilized? I have mine checked every three months. My mom goes every 6 weeks. I've never made it past 6 months in between.

If you weigh 445 pounds 3,000 calories a day absolutely sounds right. I started at 397 and around 2,500 calories a day. I lost pretty much as expected with that

You guys are so hardcore. Two cups of coffee makes me feel like I need to go to the emergency room from heart palpitations and dizziness. One cup, I'm good to go. Two cups, hot mess.

I felt like my butt looked big today. Maybe it was the dress I had on cause there's nothing back there

You have to change your weight under the goals section. It will not ever change your calories if you only update it on the progress tracker.

Tell me why
-
No. I don't find it difficult at all to hit my calorie target and I eat much more than 1200 a day

I salt every vegetable I eat. I don't think that's weird?

I ate 1,040 calories worth of almonds and sunflower seeds while driving earlier tonight.... That's why I use MFP, because previously that would have been a pretty typical snack. It was just two of those little gas station tube bags. By most accounts 'healthy'. Certainly not a snack though.

What kind of guidance?

No and no

I just scared my coworker laughing so loudly at that

As others have stated, no one is addicted to food. It's the behaviors associated with food and eating. That's an important distinction to understand. No, not everyone is "blessed". A lot of us end up here, between needing to lose a few pounds and morbidly obese, because of our relationship with food, not an addiction to…

Well meth isn't food so..... There's no correlation there. We need food to live. It's not the same thing. People don't require meth to sustain life.

I won't go without my Rottweiler. I don't live in a great neighborhood though.

I'm glad you said that because I always wonder about that when I'm doing yoga. I think, this can't be good, having to constantly crane my neck into very unnatural positions to look at the screen. I've rarely found a video where the instructor does a good enough job describing the movements that I don't have to look up…

This was a game changer for me. ACV on its own is great for killing gnats but ACV mixed with just a couple drops of blue Dawn dish soap is miraculous. I tell everyone I can about it. It does have magical properties, just not for weight loss, unfortunately. I have said this before in various other ACV threads, it's also…
