Congratz! Sounds like you're off to a great start....Today was my first day trying to eat a keto diet....Trying to figure out macros, and then fitting foods in them is a little more challenging than I thought it would be....But I'm determined to figure it out!

Your list of veggies it's a lot longer than mine was (corn & green beans).....A nasty heart attack and being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes changed my perspective! Faced with the choice of a healthy diet or an early death made vegetable MUCH more palatable. Now I happily eat lots of different veggies! :smile:

Hey Y'all...I'm doing the keto thing because I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and needed to get my raging blood glucose levels under control. So far it seems like a miracle cure and even my (high for FOREVER) blood pressure is coming way down! This may just be the way I eat forever!

I really wish I could be vegan, but my natural aversion to vegetables makes it unsustainable for me. I am learning to fit SOME veggies into my diet, but I could never eat enough of them to be a vegan....So I just deal with the guilt of eating meat & dairy.
