Glad to hear it. I am doing ok recently, not being particularly fussy about what I eat but am staying within calories.

Hope you feel better soon Well done That sounds very energetic for a rest day. I also do not like the heat, I have an old fashioned fabric fold out hand fan that I keep getting out my bag to fan myself with. Clocked in 4 miles walking today

It takes a whole lot of trial and error to change. The most important thing I think is to keep at it. keep trying and no matter how badly we go off track or how long for, we have to keep on getting back on track. One day it will stick and goals will be reached and maintained. If it was easy there would not be so many of us…

Virtual Cuddles @ Jess, I am sure your mum is with you in spirit and would be thrilled to see her daughter be well and happy. As I understand it parents are made most happy by seeing their children happy. So maybe look after yourself for mum too.

Congratulations on all those goals you are all hitting. Such an inspiring group of people :)

I agree and am still learning the lesson that I need to break ultimate goal up into small chunks. I need to lose 150lb seems scary but I need to lose 10lb seems manageable. Just focus on the next mini goal and take it one day at a time.

I think it just takes time for people to adjust to new look. I found the same thing in past the last time I lost weight, people kept telling me to stop that I looked too skinny etc even though I was still medically overweight. They just were so used to seeing me as a big person that to them I looked sick just because i…

I have a lot to lose, did great in january, lost nothing in feb, did great in March, gained in April, doing good so far in May. It is a bumpy road but just keep at it and we will reach goals. I have found joining groups on here and participating in challenges helps keep me motivated and get back on track when lose my way.

I went out with local walking group again to lovely park where there were loads of bluebells out carpeting a large area under trees. It felt like a magical fairy land. I have clocked in 5 miles today making it a nice 25 mile total walked for me this week. That might be my lifetime record so far. With comfy feet there may…

I am here, been out for a walk in sun, it is like height of summer, going to chill out in bath now I think :)

Hugs @katdanash that is far more than anyone should have to deal with all at once. As for me May is going better than April so far. Was ill physically and mentally for most of April. So overall I made no progress in April and back slid quite a bit. As always nothing to do but get up dust off and get back to it. I am not…

They are a US brand but there are some UK stockists. If ordering online double check sizes as US and UK sizes are different. I am supposedly a standard UK womens size 8 according to various shoe shops who I got to measure my feet. I can not even get my foot in women's size 8. However I have taken to now buying UK mens size…

I went for 6.5 mile walk mixed terrain, some in town some up hills in countryside. I am pleased to report my new expensive running trainers in combination with customised socks worked well. My feet are happy. This is excellent as means I can do more walking in future. I bought Altra repetition running trainers. Altra are a…

At least you did not gain a load like I did in April. Well done on your loss. Keep at it :)

1 mile today. I purchased some new shoes with wide front of foot so hoping they will be comfy on tomorrow's walk about.

I am not doing very well but I am still here, never surrender. Going to weight watchers as sometimes regular weigh ins by someone else help get me more motivated for a bit.

Still here and still alive just about :| Looks like I probably have ulcerative colitis or some other inflammatory bowel disease is doctors best guess so far still waiting on test results. I need to avoid high fiber foods and eliminate dairy apparently until it settle down. Yesterday all I ate was a pot of yogurt a milk…

I rang doctor who said all my previous blood tests for blood sugar, cholesterol, liver function and thyroid came back normal. She said though that she wants to repeat the liver function blood test while I am unwell so I have to go in tomorrow for nurse to get some more blood from me. I also had to drop off my poo samples…

@BigChangeNeeded I often feel a bit pathetic when I see other people achieve things like that too. Makes me feel inadequate somehow like I am weak for not finding such strength and determination. The thing is though everyones circumstances are unique. For example all my strength and determination get mostly used up in…
