I know zero about the Google Photos app, but if you're an Amazon Prime customer, you can download their Amazon Photos app, and it automatically interfaces with all the devices the app is loaded on, and from there sharing is just like every other app. Hit the three-button icon in the upper right corner and choose the…

I use the Arc trainer at the Y as my primary "machine". I use one of the programmed workouts for men. I have just gotten to the point in my progress that I'm going to have to "level up". I track my progress via a smartwatch app, so I can see workout to workout progress.

If they’re trying to sell you something, it’s probably not legit.

12 years for me. I limit my eating to set times, in the dining room. Never the office. That’s where I work, not where I eat.

Do the garmins register calorie burn? I was looking at them but I didn't see one that did calories. I was just reading brief descriptions though. [/quote] Yes.

Unless you’re a competitive athlete, the answer is “whatever works for you”. If you’re a competitive athlete, the answer is “whatever your coach says works for you.” There is literally no right answer. It’s YMMV all the way down.

The Apple watch is also a good option if you’re not hiking, Kayaking, etc, for long distances/duration. Its main limitation is battery life. I do 30 minutes of elliptical or row every workout for general cardiovascular fitness, and alternate upper and lower body weight training for another 30 to 40 minutes. Probably once every 2 weeks, I just do cardio, but I also hike 3+…

I have had a chronic back for 20 years. Step-ups have helped me tremendously. 16-inch box. 3 sets of 12 per leg. I’ve just added holding 20 pounds of weight. I do modified squats with a kettle bell starting by sitting on that box with a 20-pound bell, standing and lifting the bell straight up, then return. I also do squats…

I had a FitOne that I used for more than 4 million steps, then a Surge HR, followed by an Apple Watch, which I just replaced after 18 months. The AW is great, tracks activities well. It’s very intuitive, especially when paired with the iphone. You WILL charge it every night. That’s the biggest limitation. If you hike and…
