I had the same experience with half marathons and running in general. I spent all winter pounding weights came back to racing this spring and my time was off the charts and I recover so much quicker

Depends on how long the cardio is but i would let ur body tell u when it needs a rest day otherwise maybe one or two days off on the crunches and squats

Me to ran 10 miles this morning

I ran 10 miles in the neighborhood since the gym was closed.

Ran longview lake half marathon on saturday at 1 hour 49 minutes.

I just got done running my first marathon on saturday and i have not run yet to let my body recover and i so want to run. I am totally excited to run tomorrow morning.

Happened this morning actually, i was running and saw a package for an 11.5 inch *kitten*. My running partner and i were laughing hysterically.

I had those problems then a couple of years ago i was fitted with orthopedic inserts and i can now run without cramps or spams in my feet or calves. After really long runs i get them sometimes from muscle fatigue but my overall quality of life is better. You may have imbalances that need corrected.
