When you drop another hole on the belt :)

That's an insane pace. Should hit it this week.
-
Easier with the AC for sure. Plus no hills and stuff, so an easy, steady pace.
-
Hit it this morning, 199!

Haha, a little over 4400 calories, actually. I could do about 45 a day and stick to my calories...but I'd be starving and nowhere near my macro/micro goals. I love the challenge, but will pass :)
-
Haha, love it.

Got it. I missed that, and was looking at a July 24th update I think. Still, progress comes and goes, it's not always a straight line of weight loss. Keep at it, it'll come :)

Looks like you are down 4.4lbs in the last 18 days. That is not a bad pace at all. I find my rate of loss can fluctuate, sometimes I lose nothing in a week, sometimes 3-4 lbs. Stick to it, the results will be there.

Started week 8 yesterday. Tried it outside yesterday morning - got a little over halfway through the run and thought I was gonna pass out from the heat. Packed it in. Then I went to the gym last night and did the full 28 minute run on the treadmill, without the heat stroke worries. Treadmill running is way easier than…

Thanks man. Looks like you'll hit it soon as well at the pace you are going. Good work!

199 this morning. Yay!
-
Redemption. Just banged out the run on the treadmill in the gym. Air conditioning FTW. Treadmill running is way easier than real running...lol.

Good week!

I thought it was weird dropping down to shorter runs after the 20 minute one as well, and considered skipping week 6. I ultimately decided to stick with the program. It got me farther than I ever thought I would get, so I'll just trust it for the last few weeks. I'm starting week 8 this week :) At the end of the day, you…

Great work!

Thanks! Had my first incomplete run this morning. Got through 16 of the 28 minutes then packed it in. Way too hot, I was getting a bit dizzy and figured it was better to try again when it's cooler than to pass out on the trail. We have been under a heat advisory - I thought going in the morning and in the shade of the…

Great job, congrats!

Sounds like a lot of work. Glad you are almost done at least :)

He should know better than to eat that in front of you. A big part of me starting to lose weight was that my wife was, and I didn't want to eat poorly in front of her while she was working hard at it. At the very least, he should find a way to eat that when you aren't around. Just my 2 cents.

This, 100%.

It's getting quiet in here again. How is everyone's week going? My weight has been fluctuating up and down a bit this week, but down a pound from Friday as of this morning, so I'll take it. I'm still progressing in C25K. Finished week seven last night, it was three 25 minute runs. I did 4km last nite, my fastest pace yet…

Sorry for your loss :( Good luck with the 5k. Hopefully you'll get back on track quickly.

When my breathing gets messed up (usually when I try to grab stuff at a Pokestop as I run by it :P), I slow right down for a minute or so - both my running and my breathing. It seems to help.

Love all these goals, the focus from everyone is great. My immediate goal is get under 200, I'm hovering at 200.5-201 the last couple days. Then I'm chasing down 195.5, as my end goal for a challenge group I am in to lose 55lbs by September 1st.

I guess I kinda did a pre-week one program without thinking about it. At least I built up to it. I was at 250.5lbs when I started losing weight. I hit the gym quite a bit for a couple months, did eliptical work and a lot of walking, both on the treadmill and outdoors. When I started thinking about running, I did a couple…

You'll do fine at both. I'm doing day three of week seven tonite, so I know exactly how you feel, I was there not long ago. I found the trick is all in the breathing, and not worrying how fast you are running, as long as you are running. I was pretty nervous about the 20 minute run two weeks ago. Now I can't wait to start…

We're in the home stretch!

Did week 6 day 3 of c25k last night. 25 minute run, went pretty good. More than I ever would have thought I'd be able to do :)
