Week 6 day 2 is tonight. Day 1 felt easy after doing the 20 minute run in week 5. Two 10 minute runs tonight should be fine :)

Amazing post that I can't really do justice to with a response. I agree with you that everyone here has done a great job at this. I also agree that how fast you hit your goal doesn't really matter, as long as you do it. And being healthy is definately more important than hitting a number. I think you've made some great…

That's awesome, good stuff :)

Haha, definately good for distance. Kills my phone battery, though.
-
Thanks :)

Congrats on the pace improvement! Hope the knee is ok.

Pokemon is too addictive. I usually play on my recovery walks :)

Whoops. Meant same run, same time.
-
Thanks! The program works really well. So far, at least...

Nice!

You got this :)

I just did the same run, same distance. I am definately not concerned with time at this point. I'm pretty happy that I am sticking to the program. And, honestly, for the two km in the run that I ran for completely, I was averaging 6 min 30 seconds. That turns into 32.5 minutes for a 5k. The program is set up to do it in 30…

Just finished week 5 day 3 of C25K. This was the twenty minute run. I had my doubts, as the longest run I had done previously was 8 minutes. It went fine, though. The running part is actually easy. The only tricks are getting your breathing right, and your frame of mind. Once I believed I could do it, I knew I would do it,…

Well done!

I think that is smart. At the end of the day, like you said, it is about being healthy and eating well, not necessarily hitting a certain number on the scale. If we do the right things consistently, we'll get to the number we want to be at. Sometimes, when just chasing a number, people starve themselves, which doesn't…

That's great. I'm gonna tackle W5D2 in a few minutes. I've been thinking about W5D3 for a while now. I'm a little afraid of it, and can't wait to kick the crap out of it, all at the same time.

To get under 200. At 204.5 now.

Questions, struggles and progess has been a bit active, as well as the weekly weigh in thread. It's good to have another active poster in here :). Vacations/eating away from home make it tough for sure. Should get easier for everyone after summer...

Nothing is impossible my friend. You've done it before, you will get there again. Go back to what got you there the first time. Say no to the temptations - it feels good, and keeps getting easier to do.

Thanks! Week 5 starts tonite. Three 5 minute runs. Should be no problem
-
Week 4 of C25K complete...it really wasn't that bad :)

Good stuff!

Good work, you are crushing it :)

That's awesome, congrats on hitting 30. Really good job :). You'll hit Onederland soon, and your goal before you know it! Thanks :)
