That's, like, 7 or 8 M&Ms - they're precious, don't trivialize them 🤣

How are you progressing? After some stumbles, I'm back up to running over a half hour at a time, and loving it. The sweat and the way I feel at the end of the run is just so good.

Slow, steady improvement is the way to do it. Good work!

Thanks! I did a 30 minute run this morning, first of three for week 9. I need to pick up the pace a smidge, I came in at 4.5ishKM, but I'll take it.
-
Thanks! I did the 25 minute run this morning, it went well. I'll ultimately need to up my pace to hit 5k in 30 minutes, but I'm happy with where I'm at for now :)

I'm down for this. Challenge Start Weight: 199 Weight Today: 199 January 1st Goal Weight: 185

Aaaaaaand I'm back. A few years ago, I dropped from 250 to 170, then, due to as many silly excuses as you'd like to hear, I gradually worked my way up to 208. I've toyed around with getting back on track in the last few months, and finally got really focused the last couple weeks. I was at 205 on October 16th, and hit 199…

That's awesome. When I lost weight a few years ago, I always planned some kind of treat into my daily calories. I feel the same, knowing that I'm having some kind of treat helps keep me from panic eating sweets. 2.5lbs down as of this morning, so halfway there.

How is everyone progressing so far? I've been doing pretty good with exercising, eating well and logging. Weighed in at 206 this morning, so two pounds down.
-
That's awesome, good for you for sticking to it, that's great! Yeah, the dinners sound a bit challenging. Can you do lighter breakfasts and lunches on the 5 days that you don't do the cooking? Either that or just smaller portions of whatever dinner is...or both, maybe. Haha, thanks...I'll take the water weight horse and…

How have the last couple of days gone for you? I have found being back on MFP, and this thread, to be motivating as I get back to it. I have eaten well, and exercised a fair bit this week. I'm down a pound this morning. I know it's water weight, but I'll take it.

I'm in the same boat. I lost 80lbs, and have put half of it back on over the last couple years. I share the feelings of frustration, and being a but mad at myself. I'm focused again, though, and the good news is that I know how to fix this. I've done it before, so I can, and will, do it again.

I'm in for this. Starting at 208lbs.

That’s awesome. Great progress, congrats :)
-
Great work, keep at it :)

Went to Canada's Wonderland yesterday. It is so much easier walking around all day and hopping in and out of Roller Coasters with 80 less pounds in me. It's nice to not have to worry about the restraints barely fitting, too :)
-
Haha, that's great. Congrats! It's always nice to get an outsider's perspective :)
-
Ran my first race yesterday. 8k, in 42:20, for a pace of 5:17 per km. Started C25K last July, never ran before that. Decent showing.
-
Thanks :). It is a cool idea. Thanks :)
-
Good for you! I've had a few tight squeezes in the past on roller coasters, and it felt really good that they buckled up easier last summer. Looking forward to seeing how loose they are this year :)

I have registered for my first race, an 8k, where the challenge is to complete it before a symphony finishes playing 50 minutes of music. If you had told me 14 months ago that I'd be doing this...I'd never have believed it.

Congrats on the progress. And tell me about it with the sizing. I started at 42 waist and xxl shirts, and they all fit fine. Soooooo much variance in medium shirts and 32-34 pants. Frustrating.
-
Congrats on the results so far, great start! I started at 250lbs, and it was around 30lbs lost that people started to notice and conment. It'll probably start for you any time now. Don't worry if it doesn't, though. People are all different, and some don't feel comfortable talking about other people's weight. It is what it…

I'll never forget the day I knocked that run off. Congrats, it's a beast, and you killed it. Great work :)
-
That's awesome, and I can relate. I started at 40-42, depending on the pants, and xxl shirts. I'm into 32s now, and medium shirts. I can't remember the last time a medium shirt fit me :) Congrats, good work!

I was looking at clothes in the local thrift shop yesterday. One of the ladies working approached me and told me that i should take a look at the plus size area too, because some regular size clothes got mixed in. It was a nice reminder that I am clearly not wearing larger size clothing anymore. While looking at those…

That awesome, good stuff. Make sure to track your calories, too. It's tough to out exercise poor eating habits ;). With both, you'll crush your goals :)

I sparked a weight loss trend at my work after dropping 80lbs. At the end of it, I won a bet with a coworker who was also trying to lose weight (the bet was his idea). Now he's in another bet with a couple other coworkers. They're all doing well. :)

SW 250.5lbs (mid March 2016) CW 172lbs I started noticing that I felt better after about 20lbs. Things that had winded me before didn't anymore, and I could bend down to tie my shoes! People started commenting around 30lbs down. I probably didn't notice in the mirror until about 50lbs down. Luckily, I took progress photos,…
