Right now the goal is 131, which is less than 2 lbs away. As I get closer to the 120s I feel like I'm crawling towards the finish line. Oh well, whatever it takes!

Yes, I do regret it.

Lands end now has some stretchy elastic waist jeans that I like a lot. They look pretty good and one size seems to accommodate a pretty wide weight range. Of course ymmv!

My husband insists on eating out at least once a week. He won't go to any restaurant that plays music that he considers too loud, which leaves us one local Chinese place. Fortunately I found an acceptable meal - hot and soup soup, only a quite small amount of rice, and we share an order of moo goo gai pan. This works…

Maybe follow some of the advice people have given to the person who posted "being totally honest..." In this forum. In fact maybe you should friend each other.

As long as this app is available, logging is so quick and easy that I'd say "if in doubt, why not just do it?" I am also finding that the daily step on the scale is crucial. Disclosure - I'm not yet at goal weight.

And to not pig out at the election watch tonight!

Last time I posted, my mini goal was 135. Then I flatlined for a while, but I seem to have gotten my groove back. So . . . 135 - two pounds to go.
-
I went to silver sneakers this morning all jazzed up and rarin' to go. Holy moly, I thought, how long has it been since I've actually had energy? Why today? Who knows, but I felt pretty good.

I especially like the photo with the red necklace. You are so pretty.

135. I've been stalled for about two weeks, figure I should just go for the next multiple of five to get back in the groove.

Face. I had gotten to look like I had the mumps, like a chipmunk storing it's winter food in its cheeks. Then the arms. My belly must be going, because my clothes are looser, but even after losing 35+ lbs I can't buy new clothes yet.
-
Oh but you have very visibly lost belly! I'm the opposite - arms and face look better but not changing clothes size. We'll get there in time!

If the salad is the whole meal, then you can afford the calories in the dressing. A humongous bowl of favorite veggies, maybe half an oz of cheese, a few nuts, an oz or so of grilled chicken or turkey, slice in a few strawberries or grapes, and a serving of whatever dressing your heart desires!

Please, dear girl, start talking to a therapist as soon as you can. I - for one, and probably many others here - will be worrying about you. Please let us know that you are getting help and getting back in control.

I've been back at silver sneakers for a few weeks after a long hiatus due to hip replacement and miscellaneous joint pains. So this morning I noticed that my arms are actuAlly regaining flexibility (still hurt! but can move anyway). And when she says "straight and tall!" I actually do it and work my core. Maybe I can…

Got to 140 today - yes!

He's a keeper for sure.

What terrible choices your meal plan gives you! My first thought is that fruits are your friends - apples, bananas, grapes all very portable. Tubs of yogurt or cottage cheese. Nuts, string cheese. Maybe get a small insulated lunch bag to carry all this stuff in and minimize your dependence on these restaurants. At least…

Oh! So my vacation at art camp was an anti-plateau move (ate more, but only moderately more, for a week). Well, cool!
-
Whoa! I don't usually do good-job posts, but omg, girl, you are gorgeous. I especially liked the photo in the red and black check dress.
-
To get firmly below 140.

Salad of 50-50 lettuce / spinach, a few of your favorite nuts, other veggies that you like to bung into salads, some strawberries, and marzetti light raspberry vinegrette. It's all about the strawberries.

Every time you see a gorgeous thin woman whom you envy, remind yourself that she is probably in the movie business, so she doesn't count :-)

Here's a suggestion - go to the website sciencedirect.com and search for artificial sweeteners in the keyword box. You will get a list of scientific journal papers on the subject. Read the abstracts (which you can access free) and reach your own conclusions. Myself, I would not drink 4 liters a day. Try flavored Perrier or…
