Yes, that happened to me a few years ago. I had gained more than 50lbs. A big event was happening in our family and I knew I had to get the weight off if I wanted to look good in pictures and get healthy. Hi, I'm 47. I lost 50lbs around 6 or 7 years ago, and for the most part, I've kept it off.. Except for this past year. About 10lbs have crept on, maybe 15. Weight Watchers wasn't working this time around, that's why I started using MFP. I love that I'm back on track and starting to feel better! A new year, a new me!

I get on the scale every day too. Sometimes twice a day. (Morning and night) I only log my weight once a week, but I feel that it keeps me accountable and gives me motivation!

Yes! I lost 50lbs about 7 years ago and now that I'm 47, I've hit a wall. It's so hard to take off now. Using MFP and counting calories this past week have given me hope, but it's still a struggle.

Thank you both! I lost 50lbs several years ago, and have put on, taken off 10-15 of those lbs over the past few years with no problem doing both.. Now I seem to have hit a wall with WW and thought an app that tracks every part of what I eat might help. So far it is helping. Thanks for the welcome and encouragement! :)
