  • Challenge #3 I ate four green vegetables between yesterday and today. They are broccoli, lettuce, peas, and green beans.

  • Challenge #1 I chose week 4 Tuk Tuk to Thialand "Muy Thai Anyone?" I loved the kickboxing with Jessica Smith and Peanut. I used to do kick box workouts and I find that they relieve a lot of stress and it really helped tonight. Plus I have my own version of Peanut named Fenris that likes to work out with me.

  • Sorry I have been MIA on the spreadsheet, there have been a lot of obligations for my family this week. The positive side of yesterday is that I hiked outside for five miles while watching my two scout kids participate in the Klondike competition. The temperatures stayed between 30-35 so it felt quite chilly to stand…

  • Challenge #3 I added thyme to my italian beef in the crock pot this week. I liked the flavor, it went well with the kick of pepperocini. I will definitely continue to make this the same in the future.

  • I completed the total body work out for challenge two. It was a bit slower that I would have liked. I am hoping to get the opportunity to try the other video tomorrow and see if I like it better. I also got all the bonus minutes for the other videos. I really enjoyed learning about the sled dogs! Come on team two, we can…

  • CHALLENGE #3 I chose to give up chocolate candy for Monday to Friday. Initially I thought it would be tough, but it ended up not being too bad and I lost a pound in the process! I have been struggling to take off weight so I may continue to do this to help out with some weight loss.

  • CHALLENGE #1 I chose the 10.49 mile Iditarod. I walked the first two miles outside. Then the weather went downhill and I walked the other miles broke up over Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on my treadmill. I wanted to challenge myself to get exercise in every day this week and increase my fitness level.

  • I started the 10.49 mile challenge. So today my dog, Fenris and I walked two miles outside. I am happy to see that it can be worked on indoors since tomorrow the weather looks very rainy. I set a goal of two miles a day for five days. After doing that, I went to my normal water running class at the Y this evening. Wow, I…
  • @Brittanypomales check the spreadsheet for Monday, the sheet scrolled on me and I think I messed up your entry. Sorry about that!
  • @jenilla1 I completely agree about the videos, totally creepy! I turned off the sound and let them play while I moved and watched them off and on. I liked the sitting workout, a lot less pressure on my hips and knees! Doing great on the water challenge, day two down. I agree with @jamaicanlady so encouraging to see us in…
  • @jamaicanlady I agree about the water not being a problem. I drink at least 8 a day to help prevent issues with kidney stones. Thanks for the encouraging message!
  • I didn't complete the food challenge as there is nothing that came to mind readily that would make a list of yucky foods for me. I did however get more exercise in this week due to the nicer weather. I got my teenage daughter to go along on a walk today since I let her walk the dog. Here's hoping for another great week…
  • @lbenson2006 I was hoping that maybe sometime in the future we could meet up since we live close to one another. We also apparently see the same nutritionist. I hope we can keep in touch, please hang in there. You have inspired me to stay on this team since I started this last summer. Keep in touch and know that your…
  • Two videos for foot massage down, still haven't figured out the food that grosses me out. I'll come up with something.
  • I got the kickboxing challenge done and will use the other videos for exercising this week. Keep pushing team 2!
  • I was really disappointed today that I could not complete the second challenge with the video. It would not play back, I tried several times and to no avail!! I felt that I would be cheating to do another video and then plug in the points. I did some other exercise so I could at least get some points for the team. Sorry to…
  • My furry helper and I got the other half of the stairs done after judging at the Science Fair for my school district tonight. I am having an easier time with staying under the calorie goal each day. One more day to make those 5 points for the team. I still need to do the videos, hopefully the next couple of days I can get…
  • I decided to walk up and down the stairs at my house for the challenge and had a little furry helper right there with me! I got half of them done today before I had to leave and pick up a child.
  • I'm sorry team 2, I am unable to get a lot of excercise in, the germs in my classroom got me! I have the head congestion crap!! I have managed to get the 5 days under calorie goal. Here's to hoping that I can muster some exercise time tomorrow to help the team out.
  • I finished the outdoor walking and the 5 videos. I think this is the fastest I have ever completed the two ten point challenges on the race. Now to stay under calories for three more days. I made it under today, even with a work potluck for lunch! I agree that I find this motivating and hoping to see some results on the…
  • OK, I have nailed a little over 2 miles toward the challenge. The videos look fun. I will attempt those another night because I still have water running to go to this evening. I am trying to up my exercise minutes as well. I got some unfavorable results on my yearly blood tests in reference to cholesterol, so exercise is…
  • @lbenson2006 thanks for getting the answer about the pineapple, that is what I figured! it didn't hurt to ask.
  • Team 2, do you think pineapples could count toward the fruit challenge?
  • Hello Team 2! My name is Anna My favorite way to exercise is water running or water aerobics. I am from Southern Illinois, outside of St. Louis My family is my life! I have two kids a 15 year old girl and a 12 year old son. We spend many hours with Scouting activities (because my husband is the Scoutmaster!), baseball…
  • OK Lesley this is our third go around, we can do it! Welcome to new team members, this is such a fun challenge!
  • I ran out of time this week and did all of the video workouts today! I did the extra 20 minutes at the beginning of the challenge, the ab workouts 2x each, and I went back to repeat the Mundoguyi videos from the week seven challenges "Peru tiene talento". @MissionEnforcer
  • Lifestyle Changes: 1. drink water 2. keep an eye on calorie goal 3. make my daily step goal 4. eat fruits and veggies 5. cut down on empty calories 6. meet with my nutritionist monthly 7. continue daily logging 8. keep snacks healthy 9. get my exercise amounts back up to where they used to be
  • I completed the 5K on my treadmill this morning while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade with my kids. Then I used the Rockette's challenge to stretch out after the walk and finish watching the parade. Tomorrow we celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday! Hoping I can stay on track and not eat too much.
  • On this Thanksgiving Eve, I would like to pause and say that I am thankful for my family, health, and our puppy. I'll just keep it simple.
