A word of caution... you have to work your way up to the Root Beer Float. Start simple... with the ice water... or on like special occasions... MAYBE a lemonade.
-
If you are at work DO NOT search Urban Dictionary for "Root Beer Float"... your hubby is one freaky dude. Gotta see HR again... be back later (maybe).

+1. I used to scoff at the idea of a lifestyle change, but now that I've lost and am trying to keep it off. I've found that you have to create habits that help you maintain. Every Sunday night I prep about 6 pounds of raw vegetables to keep in the fridge. I mix them up. This week: celery, carrots, radishes, zucchini, and…

Loads of raw veggies and an ocean of water. I'm in a similar boat at my desk all day. I munch on lots of celery, carrots, radishes, peppers, etc. I stay away from dried fruit cause I never get satisfied until I've eaten 1000 of them. Also... I know this is crazy... but just try not sometimes. I knowwww... its so hard! But…

I like it thin and crispy

I still put them on sandwiches. Why get crispy crunch from lettuce when you can get it from the amazingableness that is Doritos.

I totally get it. I've got seven more to lose on this cut i'm doing now... and lifting increased weights at the same time (sort of a mini recomp plan). So i know it will slow the number on the scale... but dang... it feels good to fight for it :)

First... don't panic. When you start getting really close to the goal, that last little bit is a crazy challenge. How often are you weighing in? Now that you're much lighter, your body won't just shed weight like it may have been doing for weeks or months. Water intake plays a huge role. Lifting can create weight. If…

This... this is straight up gospel. I've lost 60, easily put some back... fighting for that last 7-9 again. I used to think it was so gimmicky when people would say its a lifestyle change, not a diet... but its the damn truth. I could eat a family size bag of doritos right now... but I'm not.... probably... No... i'm…

When it comes to exercising/losing weight/learning/working/quitting a habit/anything...... absolutely anything... if you're not doing it for YOU... if YOU haven't decided you want to do it... it will never be enjoyable or accomplished. Good luck with your other hobbies.

Someone came up to one day and put a very empathetic hand on my shoulder and asked how the office could help... help what i asked? Aren't you sick... everyone can see it... that's how you lost so much weight.

On the app, you select status, and then then "Add a Progress Pic" option. That's how I've done it.

Quit eating that apple next to me, assbag.

I'm back after a 3 month hiatus... need to cut about 15 more pounds and get back in the weight room. Happy Tuesday!
