Getting healthy

Hi everyone! My name is Kara. I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. Now more than halfway through my twenties, I want to slim down and stay that way. I have about 20 lbs to lose (and the hard part is... keeping it off.) Any tips or words of advice would be so appreciated! Looking forward to making some friends and fellow health champions!

The trick is getting into a good routine, don't dive into anything you won't be able to maintain.1

+1. I used to scoff at the idea of a lifestyle change, but now that I've lost and am trying to keep it off. I've found that you have to create habits that help you maintain.
Every Sunday night I prep about 6 pounds of raw vegetables to keep in the fridge. I mix them up. This week: celery, carrots, radishes, zucchini, and yellow peppers. Those are my snacks for the week. By having them cut up and ready, it helps me from the convenience of grabbing a bag doritos or a bowl of cereal.0
