I look down and I've got some extra material in my shirt that wasn't there before...I like that.

Wow, amazing! Truly inspiring...

Only 3 weeks in but I have one!!! I grabbed a pair of jeans today and put them on with room to spare. They were too tight a month ago and were headed to the "when I lose weight" pile. Yaaaay!

Honeycrisp apples are the absolute best apples out there.

Some calorie creepers are the oils you may be using when you cook. Olive oil, vegetable oil, etc. Also, exercise calculators are a bit off on MFP. I do 45 minutes on the elliptical trainer every day and MFP gives me more credit than I burn. These are only a few of the things you may not be factoring (from my experience).

Keepin' it real. Love that! So true-all aspects. My favorite was when a guy approached me and asked me if I wanted to "maybe go get some ice-cream or a drink after the gym". I'm like, "Uh-hello, I'm on minute 42 on the treadmill, sweating like a prostitute in church and you are asking me if I want to go get ice cream?" WTF

I love your dedication and commitment. I have those days too. Yesterday was one of them. But I got my butt up and worked out!

Mini goal is to lose 30lbs by November for a Eurotrip. Two weeks in and 4lbs lost.

Still new here but last night my husband gave me a big hug and whispered in my ear that he's proud of me and that I inspire him to work out on days he doesn't want to.

Wow, so inspiring!!! I was just reading about how much time people spend working out and how often thinking "when am I going to find time to do all this?" and then I read your story. Single mom, 2 kids to take care of is a full time job and you found the time. I can too...

I am so the late afternoon or after dinner cravings chick. I'm also the kind of person who gets a craving in my head and it doesn't go away until I get it. Sometimes, I will keep a diet cream soda in the fridge because it's sweet and has zero calories or just grab some light kettle corn. Lately, I'm playing mind games with…

So, here it goes. I watch shows like My 600lb Life to "up the anti" while working out. I don't know if it comes from fear of getting that big or from frustration that they allow themselves to be so helpless but something about watching that show pushes me to go that extra 15 minutes or push harder on the inclines to get…

I'm so guilty of this too. Never had that comfort feeling explained like a "warm blanket" but that's exactly what it is. My guilty pleasure is to have a big lunch. I'm playing this game by using almost all my calories by end of lunch to make sure I do cardio so I can have dinner. Not the best idea but it's working.
