1) I’m logging everything. EVERYTHING. Even if/when I go over. This way, the habit and awareness is still there. As long as I log, it’ll never be as bad as it WOULD be. (Admittedly, it’s not as good as it should be either). 2) I’m in a Biggest Loser competition with friends and family. It helps keep accountability, even…

I don’t know if you have a Wawa wherever you are, but they’re usually my go to because they have a very user friendly nutrition calculator online.

Oh! And honey! And alcohol! And cheese! Man, calories really go fast...

Well the obesity and genetics are definitely there! Yikes. I was under the impression that type 2 was not genetically passed, but does run in families due to learned lifestyles. And, someone I know who is probably 120 soaking wet (she's quite tiny) has type 2 that she/her doctor attributes to sugary/carb overloaded eating…

Are there any other apps you may suggest?

Thanks for your advice

I could use instagram, but I was hoping for something less linear and more organized by date. It's not necessarily that I want to go back and look at it, more that having a visual record might keep me from making poor choices. A picture can be more confrontational than text in a food log. Meanwhile, good choices are…

This are really great to see! What is your calorie limit for the day, if you don't mind me asking?
