Step Tracker Recs

I have a Fitbit Charge 2, which I LOVE! But recently my mom and sister have been showing an interest in counting their steps. I would love to surprise them both with a simple watch-style tracker. Can anyone recommend some basic trackers that won't break the bank? I can't afford to buy them both Fitbits.

It would also be great if you know of any apps where people with different trackers can all sync and do challenges. Right now I only know how to follow friends with Fitbits.

    You can find the Fitbit Flex and some of the other more simple models pretty cheap on Goodwill, depending on how much you're looking to spend. :) (There's two still in box for under $15 before shipping and handling)
