I've been juicing for years and just had to guesstimate at first based on various data base entries. I got it close and now know the calorie content by instinct. Juicing transformed my health, because I would never eat veggies otherwise. I usually blend half the pulp back in and toss in some greek yogurt.

OUCH! This was my sin early in my journey. 20 Minutes Walking The Dog = 1200 Calories Burned Chinese Buffet = 600 Calories :o HELP! Why is this MFP thing not working? And of course, I had no medical issues, so please, if you think you might need to be evaluated by a Doc, do so at once!

This was AFTER I lost my weight... I was out on a run in shoes and shorts, and a lady friend of my mother stopped to "ask directions", because she was "new in town"....even though she lived there for over 20 years... B) I could feel her eyes crawling over my body....and not once did she recognize me.

Yep, this^^^^ We really don't know what those supplement companies put in those potions they call "shakes". When I see protein bars and powdered shakes, I see candy. At least with whole foods I know just what I am getting, because I choose every single ingredient.

My initial weight loss was fast - 5 pounds down in week one. That's mostly water. At some point you settle into something slow, steady and lasting. MFP recommends around a pound or so lost per week. I tore a hamstring and never missed a day of exercise. For 4 days straight, I swam, then gradually began other activities while under the care of my doctor who is himself a fitness freak. See a medical professional, and resolve to do something in the form of a safe, effective bit of lite training.
