A bunch of kids here. I am 64, 4 grown kids, 8 grandkids. Weight loss is eating right. It doesn't require hours of exercise though that helps. Busy schedule then at least try to walk as much as possible. Walk the dog, or push the carriage. Find a 30 minute routine on utube. Any of you can add me if you like

When I started mfp I began logging food, but never made myself crazy about it. I just tried to be honest about what I ate. I lost over 35lbs and have kept it off for over a year now

I have been able to maintain my weight loss now for over a year. I eat moderately and exercise daily. No special or fancy dieting for me. In fact I dislike the term diet. It means a temporary way of eating and a dure beat of regained weight once stopped.

I agree 100%. Motivation my get you started, but we need desire, dedication and discipline to achieve a better lifestyle. A support group helps too

Half of your calorie intake should be carbs. It's the bodies main source of energy. Don't freak out over carbs, just eat to a calorie deficit
