  • So you are saying that you would "know" putting foods in would have too many calories, and therefore would not use them. Which is keeping a loose count of calories.......... But your point is clear. If you only choose clean healthy balanced meals/food, you would be surprised at the volume of chow you can squeeze into your…
  • Find out what the big numbers are from. And start there. Take a look at your foodlog and see if you can adjust any heavy hitters. Are you using too much dressing? If you love the ranch...rather than dumping on 3 or 4 tablespoons, try putting just one and shaking it in a container to get it all throughout. at 40-60calories…
  • As BZAH10 said, and many others....Setting up one day for gluttony is not the way to go. Simple answer yes....a weekly deficit is technically the same thing. One reason your question is VERY valid, and should be considered by everyone in a weightloss journey is your life isnt the same day after day. I work Monday to Friday…
  • Good job. The app is great. Just make sure the first time you use a food, you check its nutritional info. Some of them are way off. I found this out when i was logging full sized apples, that magically only had 3grams of sugar. Once you find the listing that matches what you are eating (or even create your own) its all…
  • Have you considered a bench and some free weights? A bench and a couple of dumbbells is a great start. Sooo many exersices become available. Just 2 handbars and some plates to start. Easy to add on to as you progress. You dont need to go heavy if you are not building.
  • Small handful of nuts, Avocado, and butter.
  • Great job. Awesome work. Feel good, and keep going.
  • Lifting Coach (you can see it in the pic........"ONE MORE>>>PUUUUSSSSHHHHHHHH")
  • Or, roast up a bunch of chicken breast, cut into cubes, and add it to everything. :) Eggs for breakfast??? chicken omelet. Salad for snack?? Chicken salad. Need a quick snack? eat some chicken........ I really dont know how good this is for you, so if someone thinks this is a bad idea, please speak up. But yum yum, love my…
  • while egg whites may not be everyones cup of tea, you may be surprised how many calories that yolk adds. A large egg (50g) has aprox 80 calories. While the egg white (about 33 grams of the 50) has 17 calories. That means the addition of 17grams of yolk adds 63 calories. 100grams of yolk has 322calories 100grams of whites…
  • That the way I love it, chunky mushrooms and onions cooked in frying pan with some cooking spray (or butter). When they are done, throw in the egg whites and mix em up. Maybe even top with a small slice of cheddar if you have room for the fat.
  • lol, egg whites are the real thing. But i am sure you mean whole eggs :). I guess its all about what you put in it. Even those of you that must have that yolk, an extra egg white only adds 17 calories vs 90 from a whole egg. So if that omelet seems a little spars, just add some white to top it up. More filling, minimal…
  • You can purchase egg whites in a carton much like how you can get milk. Superstore here, can get 1 liter of eggwhites with no yolks for abou $6
  • Thanks for the tips. Digital food scale was my first purchase after starting this. Helps a lot. Read through that, all good advice.
  • Im new here myself, more focused on just eating better for health reasons. Looking like the weight loss will be a happy side effect :)
  • Good luck :)
