  • Hmmm I'm only half way through my physiology revision for my medical exams but I've never heard anything about fat 'flowing' anywhere hahahaha. Just calorie count stick to or under your goal and do exercise. Try to get lots of veggies and meet your macros especially protein and dont worry about faddy nonsense and cutting…
  • I'm so pleased to have got here! I only started at 140lb so it isnt a huge change but half my clothes dont fit round the waist anymore. You'll love it
  • Also I would definitely use a BMI calculator and try to pick something around the middle of the healthy range for your height, age etc. The NHS one is pretty good. That was another factor for me i chose the slightlt lower end of my healthy weight range.
  • I'm 5'7" and currently at about 125lb. I don't anyone would say I looked unhealtht so I don't think tou need to worry too much there. My goal was actualy 125lb which is less than I've weighed since I was 16 at a guess. But i took a look at a few friends who are a similar height and also looked at old photos of myself.…
  • Pretty much every lunch or dinner I make I add at least 1 portion of fruit or veg eveb if it feels like a strange combination. Helps keep you full.
  • I've lost a stone in 7 weeks so it is doable but i'm been in a stressful period so not felt hungry and hence had seriously low calories. It's probably be better to eat more calories than I do and just exercise more than I've had time to.
  • Guys I found prespiralized courgette in the supermarket yesterday and it was great! Definitely going to have to get myself one
  • I make a meal plan for the week by looking about online, cooking my general stuff, flicking through my cookbooks. I've recently started blogging my dinners with quick easy diet recipes. http://skinnybitch.wordpress.com Also strongly recommend skinny taste website and the body coach on facebook! Hope those 3 help you find…
  • You shouldnt really be too surprised at the weight loss. Our bodies have to work much harder when we're unwell as not only are you doing day to say activity but you've got an internal battle raging against whatever nasty is making you feel rubbish. I can't really explain why you would have had a loss but gained round the…
  • I made avocado pesto and prawn zoodles today and it was so good. It's on this website here http://skinnybitchblog.wordpress.com
  • Hey I've just lost 15lb and am pretty much done i'm going to maintenance next tuesday when my exams finish. No point pretending throughout the post exam partying hahaha. You're welcone to add me
  • Honestly for me I'm struggling to hit normal calories atm because i'm so busy revising and just not hungry. However I'm not that sorry because i know some people here are really looking for a life change but that wasnt what i wanted or needed i just wanted to ditch a few lb in the weeks before my holiday. Decided to use…
  • Yes! I totally feel your pain with this. I'm working for important exams so I'm super busy and quite stressed and I'm just not that hungry. I'm barely making 1000 calories right now because I just don't feel like it. I recently got the graze box light delivery and the snacks there are all under 150 calories so sometimes…
  • Hey I'm a 20 year old student and have lost 6.5kg so far in 6 weeks! Feel free to add me and check out my blog ive only just started but i do think 1 or 2 are lactose free or could be adapted http://skinnybitchblog.wordpress.com
  • I've seen a couple posts like this recently. While 1100 is very low you probably will be surprised how much you can eat in that if you plan carefully. I would go with what your doctor has said for a few weeks and see how you go, if 1100 is not achievable for you go back and visit the doctor again. For some reason users on…
  • I've pretty much ditched pasta because to get a portion size I want the calories just arent worth it with my goal I'd rather 'spend' them elsewhere. I'm seriously considering a spiralizer though to make vegetti because pasta and easy sauces could be super low calorie like that and fast.
  • I would love if some UK people would take a look at my brand new blog http://skinnybitchblog.wordpress.com I'm going to but all the recipes in grams none of that funny cup stufd you see so much of on here hahahah.
  • That sounds like a good plan maybe ill try a cheap one and see how i go! I really like zuchini so i dont see why i wouldnt like it. Thanks :)
  • Ive seen a few online which have a kinda guard and handle so your hands arent near the blades would that help?
  • Are zoodles and the like genuinely a good substitute for pasta. Do they taste good with similar sauces?
  • Hey I'm emma im 20 and a student. I've found mfp really works for me and am loving it. My diary is open and you're very welcome to add me! I also literally just started a blog http://skinnybitchblog.wordpress.com to document my recipes etc so id love it if some of you guys could take a look.
  • You're welcome to take a look at mine and drop me messages if youve any questions
  • Spinach, greek yoghurt, sandwhich thins
  • Protein supplements, protein enriched foods e.g. protein weetabix. Greek yoghurt Quinoa Spinach
  • I carry a bottle of water the whole time to just sip. I also have 3 different sugar free squash flavours on the kitchen shelf which I make everytime i go in the kitchen.
  • I've lost an average of just over 2lb a weeks for the last 6 weeks. It is doable. I was given a goal of 1260 but a goal of 1200 is the mfp minimum so theoretical it may be you would need to eat less than is healtht to get that weightloss. Dont worry too much about the speed just make sure you keep progressing towards the…
  • For the majority of the population taking vitamins is a route to wasting a lot of money. Most people do not require these vitamins so essentially you pass them straight out in urine. If you're worried you're deficient in a vitamin visit your doctoe and get some tests done and they can advise you if there is anything worth…
  • The atkins bars are super nice and pretty low calorie
  • Ive swapped my morning weetabix to weetabix with added protein. Tastes the same but helps boost a macro i was always lacking in. Perhaps you could look for a protein enhanced oatmeal? At lunch i have a sandwhich (sandwhich thins not generic bread) with ham and a spreadable cheese like laughing cow light if i need to bump…
