As a UK resident, I've never seen Yasso here but looks damn good! I also use Greek yogurt, quark or cottage cheese now where I can

Makes perfect sense  In terms of the food swaps, any recommendations? How did you go from the overeating to appropriate portions without feeling hungry/thinking you needed more?
-
Cardio for me tends to increase my appetite. Obviously everyone is different and requires you to test it out but I would be cautious about overdoing the cardio - try and do an equal split

Thank you, let's hope it's all worth it in the end - all I know is I can't live like this anymore

So quick update. It didn't really work, I couldn't control myself and the best I can do is walk a lot instead. There has been progress but it has been slow, too slow for me and the doctor and it's causing more depression. We have decided I should probably be an inpatient, the sooner the better obviously. I just wanted to…

Not everyone can buy Halo Top though. Plus if I can make something half decent then I'd be happy that i learnt something new and going forward can adapt it as I experiment.
-
Any recepies you have I am willing to try. I am literally going out to buy the one ingredient I am missing from your list for the ice cream (on top of the ice cream maker I bought cos of it!)
-
Add me, currently in therapy for it

Thanks for some of the tips. The only problem I have with finding a distraction/hobby again (playing games or watching TV or something) I feel unjustified doing it by just sitting there having done nothing. It's a dumb mentality but hard to break

The doc's do, including the therapist. He understood I can't stop/do too many things at the same time right now so is worried. But we agreed that hospitalisation/inpatient is a last resort of course but we both fear it's closer than we thought as I can't seem to help myself/do nothing.

So I failed last week. While I didn't go for a run/gym I still walked a lot to make up for it, went out my way etc. Told the doctor this and he was annoyed but almost expected it because he now realised how ingrained it all is (exercise = food). Basically going to try again otherwise I may have to be hospitalised

A bit of both. I do/did a lot of exercise in the morning and during the day and then eat A LOT at night (right up until I lie in bed) to fuel the exercise I hated in the morning. So I would get a full meal (huge usually), I make a daily mega salad plate, bowl of mixed veg and a plate of zoodles. Then, even if I was quite…

I will give the app a try, thank you. As for distractions definitely, trying to get back into normal stuff like video games, TV shows etc. that kept me entertained but I can't keep focus on it - I keep thinking "I could be burning a lot of calories instead"
-
I am indeed, well remembered! Although I guess I shouldn't be proud that I was memorable considering I really hope I can but even today (first day) was a struggle and I cheated a bit by getting somewhere earlier the slightly longer way and a bit early to walk a bit despite the pain. I'm fluctuating around that weight, I am…

Thank you all for the support, it is very much appreciated and some of these tips have been noted! Yeah they are trying to help etc. but it is so so hard for me and I just do not understand why. It is technically (although for me I'm weak everywhere). For me the big issue is moderation - I just want to keep eating no…

Hope so but trying am constantly hungry when I do try and eat 'normal' meals at set times that I sometimes find it easier to starve myself then gorge at night
-
Yeah - it's the reason I was referred. It was them who suggested that to beat this I have to go no exercise because that's the problem. Or as he says: A patient goes to a doctor and say's my head hurts because I keep bashing my head against a wall. A doctor/common sense is going to say stop bashing your head against the…

Fantastic, thank you! I'm basically going to print that and stick it up in the kitchen!

My exercise has been daily cardio, constant jogging but need to tone it down for my health ironically (mental health). So what would be the best way for me to increase my BMR etc. do weights instead?
-
So lets say I boil 100g of peanuts which = 570 calories for arguments sake. If I then eat 100g of those after boiled, how would I determine the calories? As you say the weight goes up so calories would be different (less hopefully)
-
This is what I assumed thanks. Anyone know the healthiest/lowest cal peanuts (I know they may not be the same)? And how to log it correctly if boiled? Couldn't find a lot of entries
-
Anyone?

These ones: http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=373399 They told me to go with the 130 as its then cooked and lost water weight but water shouldn't have any calories in it right?
-
Thanks. The other reason I ask is because a supermarket near me sells these glorius wedges but nutrition is confusing. The pack is 400g and it says for 100g it's 100 calories, while half a pack with the dip is 130 calories. I called them to ask which one I trust and after a week they called me back after getting it checked…

Definitely not, when other people have noticed it's not just me thinking it. It's frustrating not knowing really why it's come back, if I did it would be so much easier to make decisions on whether it's a lack of a certain workout which I may have dropped recently, certain foods etc.
-
Just the idea of not having one for once and then all of a sudden it coming back for no apparent reason, I enjoyed not having a round face for a few months in my life for once. If I knew what caused it I'd be more comfortable, as in, was it a certain food etc. If it was and it was a food I'd liked I'd live with the round…
-
Just kind of 'welcome back to the family'/'nothing wrong with it'/'looks more like you' - usually from family. We have all had round faces but during the weight loss I 'beat' those odds. They say it like we all have round faces so it's fine, but for me it's a case of why has it come back. If I never lost it I wouldn't…
-
26 but definitely not wrong perception, people have said it (not negatively). They have spotted my face has got rounder
-
I do keep the heating on non stop now to be fair. No allergies etc. but the rest of the diet (other than consuming more than I was 4 months ago) is the same
-
Definitely eating a lot though, just happens to be in one big meal. Like I have more often than not each day just gorged on over 2000 calorie dinner (if not 3 on occasion) and then snacked. So while I am trying to not go crazy on intake I still actually seem to
