try eating something small every 2 hours to keep your metabolism going. Who said anything about a pound of fat vs a pound of muscle? The truth is Muscle is denser but it does weigh more then fat if you compare the same size portion of the two. The density of fat is on average about 0.9 g/ml while muscle is on average about 1.1g/ml.

Before starting my mfp journey I was on vacation. Like Jemhh suggested enjoy yourself. I knew I was starting mfp this week so I ate everything I wanted too, drank what I wanted too and now I'm on this journey and back on track. Don't get discouraged at all

Remember muscle weighs more then fat. So if you have gained muscle weight that can be the reason behind struggling with the last few lbs. don't let the scale get you down you will achieve your goal just be patient.

Have you tried drinking more water? I quit cold turkey coffee and soda and I had a headache which lasted a few days but green tea and water helped get over that

I know I cannot drink coffee black and working out gives me the energy I need to get me through the day and night now. So it was good to get off the coffee and away from the soda. There was even soda at the family party today and I stuck to my water. I didn't over eat so it's a little victory for me :)
