One more here!

I'm looking for someone to dive into this thread and patronise everyone. Can someone help me find someone like that?
-
Yeah. There are plenty of other illnesses where that offer is presented. The patient must weigh up the pros and cons, potential side effects etc.
-
If people are eaten lots of carbs and not getting diabetes it seems pretty relevant. It eliminates carbs as the causal factor.
-
I take them but I'm sick and need to be careful with losing weight too fast, my body needs the calories.
-
I have taken it in the past to help with fatigue. Worked well enough but couldn't sleep first week or so. No idea if placebo.
-
None of this is convincing me to eat more animal fats.
-
This. I prefer it to regular ice cream.

Seeds are like nuts, full of fat, so no wonder seeded breads have more calories. They contain the energy needed to get that future plant up and running before it can take nutrients from the soil, just like nuts, which are basically the same thing.

Can only find this ATM http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4s0XkHq0HxZhjd5V2lQ2LRm/do-probiotics-do-any-good
-
It was. I can search around for the study but can't remember off the top of my head. It helps with my reflux so much that if it doesn't help feed my tummy wrigglers I'm still happy.
-
I'm not fully up on probiotic research so open to correction. It seems silly to have probiotics yet not feed those already in your gut, so for this I have porridge everyday. It's also good for my reflux so might help IBS. That said I do drink water kefir but mainly cos I like the taste and watching it grow.

Those in the Southern Hemisphere should do the opposite.

Sugar isn't just sugar though. It's not an industry creation, that's just how various sugars are categorised. Now, some corporations or manufacturers may use these terms with public ignorance in mind but that's the problem, not the labelling.
-
I think the solution is to remove all detail from food labelling and have a serious of emoticons. A smiley face next to each description. Lots of sugar? :'( High fat? :p Added Kale <3 Etc.
-
Oh Jesus Christ.
-
You read the book but did you read the thread?
-
I raise you a kale and apple cake.
-
Why add kale to donuts? The idea of treats is that they are treats. By all means have kale, but just have it where appropriate. I add kale to juices or in an omelette. What's this obsession with adding "health" foods to treat foods? They don't have to be eaten together. Kale donuts my God.

I am, so I at least have an excuse.

Strauss and GoT. This thread just got interesting.

Yes Valorie.

If you want to avoid GMOs you'll need to stop eating pretty much every fruit and vegetable in existence. Including your home grown food.

Soy Milk is gross. That's from someone who loves almond and hazelnut milk. It really is rotten.
-
Give me your best one.

The Express is as credible as The Daily Mail.

Great post. Thank you.

I can't say I see this as two opposing sides, we are all on the same side. That is we want to understand human behaviour and find ways of dealing with obesity and associated issues.
-
Observations aren't reliable, for obvious reasons, so I'm not sure if it's worth sharing them. Besides the stats don't say Italy is as high as the US or UK, just that the issue of obesity isn't as small as insinuated in this discussion. I didn't see many obese people in the US, nor did I in Spain or Italy, yet they are…

Another study on that site, pertinent to the point I made a while back and explained by others is herehttps://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/07/140711153327.htm?trendmd-shared=0 Notice how physical changes doesn't make something a physically addictive stimulus. So when people say "But look our brain changes on sugar"…
