  • @lbenson2006 Lol, I LOVE brussel sprouts! Roasted with sea salt and balsamic vinegar! And shredded raw in a salad! YUM! I love seeing what food y'all have an inversion to!
  • Foot challenge done. I did them daily throughout the week. Still not a fan of feet. For the food challenge, @MissionEnforcer I made coconut curry tofu with rice noodles. All brand new to me. The tofu was okay texture-wise (a big reason why I'd never tried it before) and it didn't really taste like anything until it soaked…
  • Sotry I've been inactive lately. I've caught the flu big going around. This week will be a bust for me exercise-wise. :( I'll still get the challenges done though. Hopefully I'll feel better by this weekend and get some mIles in.
  • I've been getting that from my mother a lot lately. I'm 5'7" and 182 lbs - not even remotely in the "too thin" category. I just let her say whatever it is she wants to say. I don't let it get to me. I know I still have plenty to lose.
  • For Challenge 3, I'm going to be making curried noodles with tofu. TOFU! I've ready approximately an zillion articles on how to properly prepare it but I'm still eh...
  • Raw green bell pepper - Yum, crunchy perfection Cooking green bell pepper - *gag* Especially when it's in spaghetti sauce
  • You're adorable! Thanks for sharing your story and spreading some much needed inspiration! <3 it!
  • 5'7" - started at 280-ish lbs, size 24W (US) - currently 182 lbs, size 10 or 12 depending on the brand
  • YES! And the peanut butter ones are great too!
  • Happy Monday Team 2! I'm not overly fond of feet so challenge 2 will be challenging but I'll get it done.
  • Happy Sunday Team 2! Cindy, that sunset is STUNNING! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm excited to see what they have planned for us next week!
  • It was a beauitful day today! 75 degrees, slight breeze. Instead of going to the gym and putting in 45 minutes on the treadmill, I look a nice long leisurely walk at a park close to my walk. Tomorrow, I'll get some miles in the morning but will more than likely go over on calories. My mom, my sister, and I are going to our…
  • I wish I had thought to take proper before pictures! You guys are incredible inspiration! <3 it!
  • I've found that if the first thing in my mouth in the morning is coffee with 70-80 calories worth creamer (like International Delights or Coffee Mate) and a Splenda, it will keep me full for a while and keep me from snacking. I enjoy breakfast though. Oatmeal, cereal, English muffin with peanut butter... YUM! I don't…
  • A little Fit Bit tip I just figured out... If you set it to say you're wearing on your dominate hand, even if you aren't, it will cut down on the extra "steps" from waving your hand and whatnot.
  • English muffin with peanut/almond butter. Oatmeal/grits/cream of wheat with whatever mix in you like (fruit, Greek yogurt, nuts, crushed up dried cereal) Toast with avocado and melted Swiss cheese Ham and cheese with crackers
  • Most burgers at fast food joints. Braum's burgers are my favorite and I crave them every so often but haven't had one in over a year.
  • Halo Top and Enlightened are the best, in my opinion. I'm slowly(ish) making my way though each flavor. I tried Arctic Zero a couple years ago. Salted Caramel, my weakness. It was glorified brown water. Ick!
  • Yesterday turned out to be an unexpected rest day for me. It was cold and windy and work was busy so I didn't get to sneak away to the gym or get a real lunch break. I was worn out by 5 o'clock. I DID do the Fitness Blender videos last night to help me relax. I had a good sleep and am feeling revived today!
  • 550 liter Mojito.
  • DO IT! I have 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies at my disposal: Thin Mints, Tagalogs, and Samoas. I eat one of each. Or two of one. Whatever I feel like, as long as it fit into my calorie allotment.
  • I get up a 5 AM. Drink my coffee, wake up a little bit, watch the news/weather, pack my breakfast/lunch/snacks. Leave the house at 6 AM. Drive the 30 minutes to my gym - which is also a little over a half mile from my office. Workout, shower. To work by 8:30 AM.
  • I just tried the Larry and Lenny white chocolate macadamia nut cookie that I've see y'all rave about on here, and it smelled/tasted like Play Doh... On the other hand, the Quest Beyond Cereal cinnamon roll was delicious!
  • Awesome! Thanks for the feedback! @jenilla1 that's how I look at it, as well!
  • I should add that I'm keeping track of the number of stairs.
  • My work has stairs that lead up to the kitchen (with the water cooler) and bathrooms so I get lots of flights in throughout the day. I also walk my errands and that often puts me in a position to take lots of stairs. I don't really look at it as exercise, per se, just another part of this new healthy lifestyle, so I'm not…
  • @Soulfood77 That's beautiful! I really want a good snow here. We had a sad one that closed the schools but had melted by the next day. :( @lbenson2006 Thanks for the heads up!
  • My comment would just be an echo of what @Molly_234 said. Find something to keep your mind preoccupied. Also, make sure you're eating enough. I always find my overeating days come towards the end of the week when I've been at too large of a deficient.
  • I love Aldi's for produce, but agree with others that you tend to have to use it the day of. I love their nut and dried fruit selection. Cheeses are also cheap there, too. Their Kirkwood brand (or Kirkland, I don't remember) make great turkey sausages. The Happy Farm brand should be avoided at all cost. YUCK!
  • So very many... :( But I love @red99ryder 's comment and so many other user's outlook!
