Thank you! Everyone learns as they go in life and sometimes we get helpful tips from others so we don't get to experience the heart ache our selves. I hope to make my changes permanent but can already see on my off days how easy it would be to let old ways creep back in. Thanks again!

Best photo ever! Congrats on your loss!

My last mini goal was to shrink out of all my shorts. I can now officially pull off the smallest pair without undoing the button/zipper. I'll still wear the couple that look the best and use my workout gear the rest of the summer. Hopefully when warmer weather rolls around next year I'll be at goal with some major changes…

If someone is confident enough to get out in public, exercise and go shirtless more power to them. I am trying to raise my children to love their bodies without developing self hate. Nothing gross or sexual about a man without a shirt or a woman in a sports bra. Wish I had the confidence in my own body to go without a…

I was skin and bones before I hit puberty then I got heavier than most girls in school. I don't remember a particular weight but I was heavy and everyone saw it with some even commenting on it. When I got pregnant with my first son I ironically slimmed down (probably due to 9 months of tossing my cookies) and could fit in…

I work 3 nights a week as an RN. I agree with taking your food in with you. I find it all too easy to graze if I don't have a meal or healthy snacks ready to go. I also stick to the "normal" eating setup (breakfast, lunch, dinner). My night meal counts as my breakfast then I get my sleep and log the lunch and dinner before…

I'm a little over 40 pounds down and I'm holding out for cooler weather. I've got some workout shorts that fit but I'm rolling or double rolling the tops of all my other shorts. I don't want to buy any new summer clothes because next year I want to be at goal (not even sure what that is right now). I have bought some cheap…

Mom of 4 also. I'm not technically a SAHM as I work three nights a week but I usually have my kids home. My advice is walk. I pace all the time. If you want to sit for a few set a timer (sounds crazy but I would never get all the housework, homework and time for me in without it). I walk the legnth of my porch miles a day.…
