Nightshade vegies can mess w arthritis so Ive heard. I think it matters what grain. Keep it clean whole grains not pasta or donuts. Kinda obvious. Also matters what u are doing repetitive motion etc.

I agree she can ask him to see a dr tell him that she is concerned for his health. Nudge him towards help.Dont push him tho Ive lived w/ obese and bolemic roomate they just get defensive.Its not a character flaw but something can b wrong stuffing feelings maybe.May not b a mental but emotional thing.

I have a similar issue w my forearms /wrist. Gripping but its from cycling etc for years and ageing maybe even artritis. I hear ya on the"its like a drug" broke my knee a few years back be glad its not your lower body. Have fun changing things up.

Cycling fast spinning and squats, mix it up I also have a stair stepper. Make it part of your overall exercise when u can add weigts for resistance it has helped me

Ive done this for ages. Ive never been a breakfast person,the only downfall is I cycle to work often and do my errands by bike and Ive found I have to bring nuts w/ me my sugar has dropped and I get dizzy/shakes if I go too long. Ive found Im more comfortable lighter.
