Try the microwave. Cover a small dish with plastic wrap and Nuke at high 30-35 seconds depending on how runny you want it. Quick and easy

You have to try them on - there’s no other way. Even if they are the same brand. I ran in ASICS for years but they changed them and now they’re too narrow in the toe box. I tried Nike which I liked but the toe box was bigger and I kept tripping until I got used to them! I now have Saucony and I love them.

Oxo one. Works great

Excluding running, almost 26k. It was on vacation - we did 22-26k every day in Rome My hubby said he needs a vacation after my vacations :D

It’s tough! I’m lucky to be able to work from home but I find I’m not moving nearly as much as I would at the office even with a “desk” job. My friend suggested to dress in running gear when you get up and then at lunch you’re ready to go for a run even if only 20 minutes or a half an hour (we’re runners). It’s actually…

My friend and I still went out on our weekly run - on opposite sides of the road! We maintained an appropriate distance, could still converse and kept up training. 2m is actually a pretty reasonable distance to manage and there are way less cars out so it wasn’t hard to keep up conversation even across a street. We were on…

Is this even an option lol? Seriously though, I have quit a few times but as long as I keep the consumption to a reasonable level I’m not giving it up. I drink it black, 2 cups max a day and rarely after 12. Everything in moderation....

Sorry if I missed this on the read through, but if you are settling weight based on BMI, you should also factor age in. It does matter and you don’t want to pick a BMI that’s suitable for a 22 yo versus a 52 yo.

Great job - just wow!

Watching Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

That’s awesome - way to go!

So many great stories here - thanks for sharing and inspiring. You’ve all worked so hard to get to this point so a big yay to you and keep up the great work!

Great job. You look awesome!

Black 99% of the time. Cappuccino on vacations and when I want a weekend (rare) treat, with a shot of Baileys. Just finished one - so enjoyed it!

Garmin 735XT here. I have big hands so need a larger watch so it doesn’t look lost on my wrist
-
Garmin 735x here. I have really big hands so a small watch looks lost on me

We get very few kids but this year weather is so bad we’re not handing out treats. I will take them to my office for the staff but I’ll be sure to sample some first to make sure they’re safe lol

Yard work. Walk dog. Run every Sunday (race this weekend) grocery shop and plan meals for week. Lounging/vegging on couch after chores done - mental health is also important!

I play piano! I get so wrapped up in practicing I don’t even think about snacking. Plus I learn pieces way faster when I actually put effort into them :D

I’m partial to dumplings. Had Chinese yesterday - shrimp wonton soup, chicken fried rice, chicken with ginger and green onion, and beef with oyster sauce and mushrooms. Had the whole soup (shrimp wontons were massive) and just a bit of the others especially the rice. I love noodles dishes too - a little is satisfying. I…

Likely so but it would have to be significantly inaccurate for me to be out of “good” range.I actually do a lot of cardio. However we are good at deluding ourselves :# . I think it just goes back to my point about looking at the whole picture with someone qualified to make the assessment. I’m not a doctor and the Garmin is…

I think the best suggestion is check with your doctor. My BMI works out to obese/overweight (right on border) yet my vo2 max is 40. This is top 10% for my age group. I’m certainly overweight but I am quite active so a real conundrum if you use those two measurements in isolation. My BP is also normal although a bit higher…

Ugh. No kidding. I used to be an apple now I’m a pumpkin lol. And I never had overly large hips/butt but now have really seemed to spread. At least my legs still look good :)

Wow - great work

Loved my Garmin forerunner for years. Splurged on a Garmin 735xt as I want to start swimming :) Either way - Garmin is the brand for me
-
I personally can’t. I feel ill when I do but it’s personal to me. My friend has no trouble
-
I ran my first half yesterday almost a year to the day since my last. It was almost a half hour slower but I am motivated to start training harder. Next race - March!

Hi everyone. I've been off for quite a while but glad to be back. My training has really dropped but I'm looking forward to getting back up to speed so to speak. If only the weather would cooperate.....
