Tell me what your favorite brand of running shoes are. I have several but am interested to hear others. Also, feel free to add me as a friend! I could use more

New Balance. I’ve worn nothing but NB since 2008.1

Depends on the type of running I am doing honestly. I prefer Brooks or Hokas if I am trail running and Onclouds/Nike for street or speed work. I have flinstone feet though so i need good i serts lol.1

Altras are the most comfortable shoes on earth. Go to Amazon $49.99 for Women Duo. You wont be disappointed.0

Go to a running store and be fitted for shoes that are appropriate to your feet and gait. Don't buy running shoes just because someone on the internet liked them.9

Normally New Balances for running but I treated myself to these yesterday since they were on sale.
Did 7.70 miles in them today and found them very comfortable.2 -
Asics are my favorite. I went to a sports store and was planning on getting a different pair I tried on a few different kinds. I bought another pair of asics.
Best thing to do is go to a sports store and try a few pairs on. They also can see you running or walking and what looks better.

I know many people that love HOKA, Brooks, and ASICS. I dislike them all. Why am I telling you this? Simple, what I like and what you like may be very different. All of these are great brands but not for me. Go to a real running store and get fitted properly. Then try every shoe they recommend and find the one you like the best. FWIW - It may take some trial and error. I tried various shoes over the years before I settled on the few I actually like.
Good luck.2 -
Hoka got me running again after some foot problems. The extra cushion made my feet feel so much better during a run, I just bought my second pair. Mine are the Arahi 3's.0

Brooks Ghosts or Glycerins fit my feet best. You really need to get fitted or try on different shoes to find which fit your feet best. We are all different.2

I've tired many, Nike, Saucony, Puma, but at the end Adidas worked for me the best. For trail running Merrell is my absolute favourite.0

I have a wide toe box and narrow heel, with a relatively narrow fit overall. I ran in saucony's for years. Switched to a minimal shoe about 8 years ago. NB minimus was my jam until they discontinued them. The recently brought them back but since then I have switched to the Merrel Trail glove. Both the NB minimus and the trail glove have a vibram sole with provides good foot protection and enough grip for a variety of activities.0

That's my curse too, making shoe buying one of my least favorite things. In fact I dread it, no one does combination lasts. I'm currently using NB 1340v2 (I pronate) with a lift to compensate for leg difference, level hips and help with lower back issues. They're pretty ugly though imo.0 -
Asics or Saucony. They fit my feet the best. Everyone is different.0

comes down to personal preference, but brooks ghosts are the only shoes that don't fall apart on me. and they are very comfy to me. but, others hate them.1

I loved Mizuno's but have subsequently switched to Hoka's and am on my 4th pair. I only run on blacktop so the extra padding absorbs a bit more of the shock and stress in my knees and ankles.

Merrell -- I run in Trail Gloves and lift in Vapor Gloves.0

I just bought a pair of New Balance Sonic V2s on clearance, and I love them. I run mostly on sidewalks and local tracks.0

Saucony Mirage were wonderful for me before I fully switched to flat shoes. I actually found the minimal shoes have helped my pronation immensely because I can adjust my foot placement and actually strengthern my feet. It takes a while to build everything up though.1 -

Do you find a noticebale difference in your lifting between the vapor glove and the trail glove. I usually run to my gym and back. I own both, but usually just wear the trail glove. I probably could do the vapor glove for the short distance I run if it would be beneficial.0 -
Brooks GTS are right for my feet, go to a good running shop and find out what's right for your feet.1

I love my Brooks, but I had to try on so many different pairs and brands until I found the right ones, and it wasn't necessarily just about the brand name. Find a good shoe store, specialized, I went to Fleet Feet but not sure if you have those and just try on everything with someone who knows what they're doing. Next time I go I might get Asics or something, but it's all about the style and fit that is right for your foot and activity level.1

I've heard a lot about the Brooks never tried them tho!0

Brooks Ghost...I have two pair in rotation and another pair in the box on standby. For trails, I use Brooks Cascadia.0

Has anyone mentioned Brooks ??2

My favorites vary depending on what I'm looking for and how I'm feeling. Currently I'm going back and forth between a pair of Hokas and a pair of Brooks, both of which I really like. I'm coming off Saucony, and leave a pair at work as backup in case I want to run on a lunch break and don't have shoes with me.
For trail running... I'm struggling there a bit. I've got a pair of La Sportiva which I thought I liked, but have had poor experiences with the last couple of times out. I'm hoping it's just a sock issue, but just in case I've got 2 pairs of new trail runners on the way from REI. If those don't work out, I'll probably go back to Inov-8, which I've had nothing but great luck with (I just hate how constantly and significantly they seem to change their product lines).0 -
ASICS Gel Cumulus. I own several generations and they never let me down. The toe box as of recent has narrowed, so order a half size larger. These shoes have Eliminated my shin splints, which I am prone to due to pronation issues.
I have a love for Adidas and I also my Hokas, but ASICS for my daily endurance runs. I might even have a shoe collection of worn out shoes, I seem to keep them like trophys.0 -
I wore Saucony religiously, unfortunately they were extremely difficult to get when I moved. I now wear ASICS. Love both brands.0

My first pair of running shoes were New Balance. They did their job. Then, I went to a running shop & got fit and that's where I got my Sauconys. Adored them. After the running was done in them, I wore them as every day shoes until they got too painful to walk in. (sniff) Next, I was fit in Brook Adrenaline 16, and loved them, next fitting saw me again in Brooks Adrenaline 18. So then I scoured the net to find another pair in another color which I rotate. I have decided to use the 16's for trail runs.
I did get a pair of Hoka One One's in there, ran several runs in them, and just never got comfortable. However, I use them as everyday shoes. I find with all the foot issues I've had, they give me the support I need.

You need to try brands that fit you. I wore ASICS for years but they’ve changed so I tried Nike Zoom this time and love them0
