Haha Hobbit mode!! 😂 That is the best description ever. That is exactly how I feel so.e days. Yes, since I have been working from home I no longer pretrack the food that I used to take to work (which covered lunch and snacks). I used to track everything except dinner by 6am. Now I'm trying to track before I take the first…

Yesterday tracking before eating was my goal. I made it but it was surprisingly hard. Why is that? But the good news is that it kept me from way over eating during afternoon snack. Today I'm going to take my snack back to the office and eat there instead of in the kitchen. Wednesday - Wishes I wish for a week of strength…

Tracking before eating is surprisingly hard. I'm not sure why but it really is! I do have to saw that even though some things I tracked as I was eating must things I tracked before had and it stopped me from going way out of control. This week my problem has been with my afternoon snack going out of control. I'm going to…

Since we are about to start a new retaining wall project in the back yard this seemed fitting Affirmation for today:. I am the architect of my life; I built its foundation and will choose its contents. I really hope Patricia is ok.

Tuesday goal - I'm going to make a daily goal to track before I eat. I can do that for today!
-
@Sandytoes71 I had one of those days yesterday as well. I ended up tracking it after the fact...not the best.... But since I was over calories for the day I skipped dinner.

Monday checkin - last week was a struggle. I've been doing great until that trigger (well to be honest triggers). But I started great again midday Friday which to be honest is a huge win in itsself. I'm not sure about others, but once the day goes south I tend to keep it going that way and actually think about ways to make…

Hi everyone that is going this group for the first time. I found the group last month and have really loved the support from everyone and hearing everyone's stories. I hope that you guys (I guess I should say girls because we are all girls here) continue to post throughout the month.

@mpkpbk2015 Patricia I also miss your daily affirmations. Here is one I think you will like. Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful. I think this is both meaningful for our personal lives and out weight loss journey.

Sunday share: triggers are a b!tch!!! I ended April in a slump because...well...not sure but I think it was two things. 1- my goal for April was unrealistic and I don't do well with goals that are unachievable and 2- I was watching a video that was talking about kitkats and I couldn't stop thinking of them for half an…

After a great start to April I flopped for the last 2 days. It's funny how a trigger can really throw you off course. But yesterday I had a huge non scale victory!! I do love NSVs!! I've been doing IF where I eat from 11-7, the mornings at breakfast are really hard especially on the weekends. I know that I don't have to…

@mpkpbk2015 How are you feeling today? Were they able to find antibiotics that you are not allergic to?
-
Well, I'm trying to add an image from my computer today...lets see if this works. I'm really good at being creative and explaining something complicated in terms that people can relate to. What are your strengths?
-
@misplacedmama congratulations!! You have done amazing work this month. What has helped you gain a better relationship with food? You have made a ton of progress this year!!
-
@KeriA I find intermittent fasting really interesting, but I have a herd time getting behind some of it for a lifestyle. For me a 16:8 can be a lifestyle. I skip breakfast and start eating at 11 am. From what I've read you do not have to follow the same schedule every day so if that schedule doesn't work for you on the…

Saturday success - this week my goal was to track before eating. This has always been a hard one for me. A couple of times I've remembered while taking my first bite so I went and tracked at that moment. Otherwise I've tracked before eating!! A huge victory for me. As a reward I'm going to try a new Japanese restaurant…

So I use MFP from my phone...it would be easier to add pictures from the computer. I took a screenshot and save that as a picture and uploaded for another thred...long story short, the results were not what I wanted.

@kelMee2 Fitbit transfers my steps/exercise calories over to MFP. But I figure a lot of these exercise calories are getting eaten with some of my imperfect logging. For example I almost never log low calorie veggies. I figure they are not worth the effort. Also when I cut a piece of homemade bread I don't weigh it, so it…

@girlinkaz very inspiring!! You are going to rock it in Indonesia! @goal06082021 I've also noticed that most of the time it's not worth it going for low carb. I might as well have the normal ones and just have them less frequently. @kelMee2 is the net calories your total intake minus the remaining? I try to leave most of…
-
@Mjbcoffee just wondering have you noticed a correlation between your diet and migraines? Just wondering if you get more when you have so few carbs? Or less with a 23:1 schedule?
-
Well that did not add the pictures as I was expecting. @Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good how did you enter in your picture
-
@Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good I'm sorry I misunderstood your chart. I thought it was showing total calories. I did not understand what net calories meant until I went and looked mine up. Here are my total calorie and net calorie charts. FYI this is the first time I've put a picture into a chat thread. Yeah for me!!

@Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good you have had 3 days under 1000 calories. Are you planning on continuing with that level of calorie intake?? To each their own but I don't think that is a healthy behavior, not for long term weight loss and not for short term weight loss.

Thursday truth - I have a harder time controlling my eating impluses when I'm alone.
