I used to log as hikes when I manually logged....they were the off path crazy kind lots of Hill rocks to jump logs etc. I got a garmin and it logs it automatically and hike is not an option so I always log as a walk. I have found a huge positive difference as well. I think it's a combo of exercise and feeding body with more vitamin rich foods and less processed crap..for me anyway. noble the exercise as small as it is helps huge for me...hope it will for you too.

I count hikes as walks.

As much as I hate a one piece (so many reasons lol) for laps that's what I wear. I through a paire of black shorts on till I get to the pool. Tankiini I feel like boobs will come out or bottoms fall down....just my experience. I love Tankiini for non exercise swimming.

may I suggest at the stops you make walk around your rig if you can then twice etc....small steps. I couldn't walk around the block when I started and now I walk amd hike all the time.

I agree no need to feel like a dork. I started at 295 and am currently 230. I try not to eat wheat but it's for my health not as a fad. I try not to eat junk food but sometimes I do. I don't care what others eat if it works for them great!!! feel free to add me.

went to disney for 9 days and hit 17 to 20 k steps a day. I logged my food most days and made good choices. felt in control the whole trip:)
