  • Thank you. I've gotten comments from multiple people at my work and it can get really annoying but I try to not let it get to me.
  • Thanks for the advice. I went to my doctor about bloating, gas and some other issues last year and he got me to do a blood test and referred me to a gyno (appointment is coming up on May) just in case it's related PCOS or something. I'm also thinking I might need to see a gastroenterologist.
  • That's possible lol
  • Thank you. The weight gain itself isn't so much of an issue since yeah I do have quite a bit to go before being overweight. It's more than it only goes to my belly/pelvis which I find very uncomfortable. When I gained the extra 15 pounds some time ago I looked like I was a few months pregnant and the feeling of that extra…
  • I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything that should cause weight gain which is why this is confusing. I eat pretty healthy and exercise moderately. My job also keeps me on my feet and moving around almost the whole time. Aside from a medication I took that made me gain almost 15 pounds (and I was still within the healthy…
  • Thanks for the reply. I had blood work done five months ago and my TSH was at 1.50 with a note that "The free T3 order was cancelled as per the BCMA/MSP. However a specimen will be stored for four days if TSG is normal and seven days if abnormal".
  • For a few years. I've been eating the same calories for at least the past 6 months. I increase or decrease them every often depending on how my weight is going. I'm more at a risk of losing too much weight vs gaining too much but I still want to be mindful of both. Also my metabolism won't be this fast forever. No travel.…
  • It was a yoga instructor... who is probably used to getting up at like 5 am and going to be at 9 or 10. Also who works earlier in the day. I explained that when I'm working 7-7:30 is dinner time for me and they were like "Well try to have 3 quarters of your food before then and then just have a light snack after 7". So…
  • Whoops yeah. Lol. I wrote that really quickly when I was busy doing about five other things and my mind wasn't really on semantics. I guess I don't know if it's bloating or weight gain though so that's why I said "it seems". Because I'm not sure at this point. Either I bloat up easily or my body naturally gains weight in…
  • Yes. I am going to try taking chromium to see if it helps with sugar cravings.
  • I saw my doctor a while ago because my stomach was bloated and hard. I went off the bc pill and the bloating went away after a bit. It's not as bad anymore but it seems to bloat up a bit when I gain a few pounds. I take these pills called pHi-Zymes which are a systemic, proteolytic enzyme formula. They are supposed to be…
  • I was thinking about it and even when my hormones were out of whack I didn't hold weight. I got up to 140 because of medication I was on but I haven't been on that for quite some time now and my metabolism went back to normal. It's not a matter of what I'm eating either. My body is literally gaining weight on nothing. I…
  • Bango. I don't know why but that made me laugh quite a bit. Yeah I was hoping it's not age. I'm 33 and it doesn't seem like that stuff should start happening until at least 40. But I guess it depends on the person. I think my carb intake might be a bit high lately. Also possible it's water weight. I don't know why but I…
  • I have MD so my weight is perfectly normal considering. I meant underweight according to the charts and BMI but not for my condition. I don't know if it's actually 12 pounds. According to my frame size a 'normal' person my height should be 132-145 and I'm at 128. If I gain weight it goes to my belly/ pelvis. It starts to…
  • I weigh my food. When I work out I use my elliptical which has a heart rate monitor.
  • 5 pounds. I don't know maybe a week ago. My weight goes up and down. It was 130 two days ago but it went down to 128. It could go back up to 130 tomorrow. But I normally I would be dropping weight way more easily than this. I have to watch calories or else I could go down to 115 pounds or less in a blink of an eye. I just…
  • This is so annoying. If I eat too few calories I get too thin (like 115 pounds. At 5'10) but if I add more calories according to what the app says I gain too much weight. It's all because of this medication I take (never had issue before). Well I don't gain too much as in I get fat (I've never been fat) but I've gone up to…
  • So then what's your advice?
  • Can someone please help me?! I did some quick cardio this morning while getting ready. Went to a few appointments then did some grocery shopping. Then went for a 40 minute walk after. I've walked over 7000 steps yet Up Move has added a bunch of calories ONTO MFP because of negative adjustments! They aren't counting as…
  • Also if I turn off negative adjustments why won't it show the calories I've burn from my Up Move? When I go to 'Cardio Exercise' in Diary it shows the steps for Up Move but shows 0 for calories. When I select it and then select "Extra Calories Earned" (which says 0) it says how they calculate it. It says 2.134 calories…
