Enlightened! It might be better than Halo Top. *covers head to protect from thrown objects*

Tell me about these wonton egg cups!

I use 2 10oz cans of chicken instead of the shredded chicken and leave off the blue cheese topping. http://www.franksredhot.com/recipes/franks-redhot-buffalo-chicken-dip-RE1242-1

I have a very similar recipe that I'm eating all week: 60 grams oats 12 grams PB2 1 packet Stevia 1/2 cup almond milk Then 15 grams mini semi sweet chocolate chips get dumped in right before I eat.

Hmm, this kind of goes back to what I said in my original post. What would happen if you "allowed" yourself to eat something you normally label as "bad" every single day? If you planned for it just like you did on Saturdays, thereby making it "okay." If it works on Saturday, why wouldn't it work on other days of the week?

You can use steel cut oats (uncooked) in any overnight oats recipe you see.

Yes, definitely the most exciting part of having a baby. Then, for me, skip ahead 6 years and everything is fun again

One of the best Buffy episodes. Welcome!

Wow, congrats! How is your wife doing?

You had a great run and lots to show for it! I'm enjoying my two weeks of higher calories. I finally found the mocha pop tarts and really enjoyed those! I'll get two more in before I start back on my second round of ELEL. Hopefully that'll be the last round and I can just coast for the summer.

My office mate works out at the Y and she's loves it. It's definitely worth checking out and seeing if they have the equipment you need for what you want to do.

Still yes! Great job!

For sure!

I see a definite difference in your mid section and your shoulders/biceps. Great job -rock it!

I always thought that I was a person who couldn't practice moderation with processed sweets and baked goods. I yo-yo'd for years due to self-imposed food restrictions. It wasn't until I made myself practice moderation that I found success. I made (allowed) myself eat sweets every single day. I planned for them in my meal…

That's exactly what happened to me on Atkins years ago. I gained weight and felt like garbage. Admittedly, I didn't know about electrolyte balance/keto flu, but...never again.

Well, right, because the bolded is just an outright lie, right? They may not be counting the calories, but they are being restricted. Not to start that argument here, though....

Glad you saw where I was going with that so I don't feel completely stupid

Agreed!

Wow, yeah, that's amazing! I know what I need to cut and I know what I need to bulk. I've never really spent a significant amount of time maintaining.

I only need 135 grams of protein - I can take the hit ;) Thanks for the info on the sweet potato! I think it's awesome when folks experiment in the kitchen to bring happiness to the masses!

No, but avocado pudding is great!

Word. I felt like I was always on the cusp of grasping this, but up until two years ago I though that exercise burned fat. Truly understanding CICO and how simple it can be has been eye-opening.

I haven't liked any black bean or white bean treats I've made, but sweet potato is intriguing!! How did those turn out?

The pumpkin flavor was one I threw away without trying, admittedly. After 4 fails, I threw the other two away. I plan to order the Kodiak Cakes pancake mugs my next pay day (the buttermilk maple flavor, which I've heard is the best). Yes, so sorry for getting off topic!!

I just tried several of their muffin flavors (I got the 6 count variety pack) and they were disgusting!! My kids hated them too. I added ice cream on top of one and I was able to get it down. The rest ended up in the trash after one taste. I got them after someone recommended it, so obviously there are people who like the…

I can really pack it in there when I just don't care. 10 lbs is really good, though! It's been two weeks, right? After my bulk I found myself getting frustrated with the slow rate of fat loss, but when I looked at my numbers I realized that it really wasn't slow...it was normal. Also, the ladies who say that are probably…

Simply put and so true. You look amazing and you look like you feel amazing!

I have two little roommates, ages 10 and 8. I hide my most coveted food because when I'm eating in a deficit, have planned a day out, then find out something is missing...oh, no! On a budget like yours it's especially important to make sure he knows your food is off limits unless he asks.

That's not a problem unless he/she steals your *kitten*.
