Ended up having veggie pizza for dinner. Just wasn't feeling the curry.

Things seem very quiet around here...

Hi there! I'm transitioning to a mostly plant-based diet (aiming for at least 95% vegan eating) but will likely have some very occasional fish/seafood on occasion (particularly for social situations, eating out at non-veg friendly restaurants, etc.).

Today is already planned out (and partially eaten): Half of a morning glory muffin (loaded with sunflower seeds, raisins, etc.) and coffee with Silk Original soy milk. Medium baked potato with some salt and ketchup as a snack. Sandwich - similar as yesterday: Yves veggie bologne, Veganaise, arugula, roasted red pepper,…

I hate Freelee. I've been looking into and transitioning to plant-based eating, but I sure as hell won't follow that quack. There are vegans out there with abysmal cholesterol numbers (high LDL and low HDL) because of the Super high carb ultra low fat fad. Moderation in macros is best. There's nothing wrong with some…

I'm attempting to transition to a plant-based diet. A challenge since the rest of my family of 5 is and will likely remain omni. Add me up!

One also has to be careful of the (really) high carb (ultra) low fat fad going around in vegan circles. Consuming more carbs than one burns is actually resulting in more than a few vegans ending up with high LDL and low HDL cholesterol.
