That's great, I also like HIIT for cardio, treadmills and stair master are boring to me. In my workout any rest period is 30 seconds, I do 6 sets, of 6 exercises for each body part at 10-12 reps. This is what I have found my body responds to best right now. I actually worked out with a younger woman that is preparing for…

I appreciate everyone's point of view, but I do want to say that by no means was I intending to be disrespectful, or "eye roll inducing" lol. I love working out, and enjoy learning about different types of fitness, the initial post wa genuinely to find out how many women workout with weights, and how they go about it, I…

From my experience as far as a workout goes, everyone is different, you have to learn what YOUR body responds to best. Some people respond to lower reps high weight, others lower weight higher reps. It's all about your goals. But from what I have seen here there are plenty of women who know what's up, maybe they will pitch…

You look great, keep up the good work.

Thanks for bringing this up, as I replied to a different post, I apologize for the misleading way i wrote that. I was referring to the guys (usually young) who sit there for all over 15-30 minutes talking to buddies, texting, what ever. I was not implying it was women. I do appreciate your post, I haven't been on this…

Thanks for your opinion, and I never once stated that it was a female (some are women, some are young girls, so female fit as a general) that were sitting on the equipment, I was referring to the guys (men or boys, what ever you choose) that sit there and text or what ever they do. The women/females stated that they asked…

We all started somewhere, nothing to be embarrassed about. You'll thanks yourself later. Good luck

There are plenty of videos on YouTube, you can checkout AthleanX channel, he has great advice, and workouts. Not to mention other people who have channels on there, just remember we are all different, and an exercise that works for me may not be as beneficial to the next guy. Learn how your body responds to different…

I don't think you're bulky...I personally believe that what ever a person chooses to do is their business, my only comment about being bulky was that a lot of women think they will get manly/bulk, from weight training. This is the myth I have tried to disprove to them. My hat is off to anyone who goes into the gym and…

That's great, maybe you could advise some of the women with questions. I think some women see the Pro female bodybuilders (meaning the ones who do look manly or bulky), and think that is possible, not knowing what those women do to get where they are.

I'm not a personal trainer, but my advice would to be start slow and work your way up, it's a marathon not a sprint. But also don't get comfortable, constantly push yourself. Good luck and keep us posted. Also if you have a specific question, fire away. If I can't answer it I'm sure there is someone on here who will have…

That's great dutchandkiwi, keep it up. There aren't that many females that do a lot of heavy weights that I know of (powerlifting). Most do a moderate weight, with higher reps. (10-15) Keep moving forward and let us know how you're progressing.

Got to agree with this man right here...especially if they are squatting... :D :D

I'm just glad someone got it, the nurse at the doctors office looked at me like I was an alien when she asked how tall I was. Guess my sense of humor is only appreciated by a few.

Try this, just introduce yourself as "Arnold Swaganator" if she laughs, you got her, if not walk away, she is either a prude or a dummy.

That's a hard question to answer man, the females that are there to workout generally don't want to be bothered in the gym. The females that want attention are there for just that, and don't really care that much about training like you expect. Just let It happen naturally. Or you could just stalk them in the parking…
