Ah! Thank you very much....that makes it much clearer (although less convenient!!) ;) - good thing I don't drink it often!!
-
Well done, @joans1976 :# I'm on an Apple Macbook but I've found a work-around....I spotted the 'old recipe calculator' and that worked, saved and logged! Whew!
-
Thanks, all! You've put my mind at rest and I shall carry on doing what I'm doing and enjoying it! ;)
-
Only for my own records, cwolfman13! My organised brain would hate to see a gap in the MFP history!! (Obsessional? Perhaps - but only slightly!!)
-
Thanks, all! I do intend to enjoy my holiday, but I also know, from past experience, that if I 'take a break' from my nutri-blasting regime, I won't get back on it when I return home >:) . I'm really enjoying doing it, but I reckon my sweet tooth and carb-loving tastebuds are with me for life and I really don't want to…
-
Thanks ladies ;) !
-
Wow - that makes sense now! But where do you allow negative adjustments? (not really sure that I want to know, but.... :s )
-
Thank you.....I think that will help me, but I'll need to read it several times before I totally get it ;) !
-
So....one day I was pulling my hair out because of the inability to fix the 'like/comment' issue and, two days later....fixed :p . Well, it is for me anyway...everyone else ok with it now? I haven't dared put the recipe builder to the test yet, but I have two days off now, so maybe I'll risk it again?

Erm.......no! Not unless you starve yourself which isn't the idea for those on MFP. Forget about 'that' dress for this birthday - save it until next year! Go out and buy (or beg, borrow or steal) yourself a size 16 dress and enjoy your birthday as the start (well, nearly) of your new lifestyle regime of healthy eating! ;)
-
Yup!!!! You just described my state of mind....out and mad!!!!
-
Thanks for that....but if I move off the page (to try as you suggest) will I lose it all AGAIN????!!!! :s
-
I joined MFP nearly two weeks ago and I'm having the same problem - I can only 'like' or 'comment' on 1 out of my 6 friends posts. Have been on to tech support several times, always with the same answer "We are looking into it...don't know when it will be fixed". However, today, I notice they have marked my case with…

//www.fitbit.com/user/4NYX9J Just got mine today!!! Really hoping that it gets me off my butt (or at least, helps me get off my butt). I'm pretty much a lifelong exercise-phobe :| , but I'm gonna try to at least manage the steps, if nothing else....
-
Ah! Thank you for educating me! I always thought I should go by the packet (IF I was eating packet food....which I tend not to).
-
So please correct me????!! I'm willing to learn ;) !
-
Depends if you're going to eat them raw, straight out of the packet?! The cooked weight (500g) is what you have to go by. Then, if you only eat half the packet of cooked noodles, you put 0.5 of the 500g.....

Wow...some slightly harsh comments on here - although if you ARE under 18 you do need to seek professional advice elsewhere! If it's the texture of fruit and veggies that scare you, try 'blasting' them with, initially, a run-of-the-mill liquidiser and then, if you get on with that ok, fork out ('scuse the pun!) for a…

Hi both! I'm in Shropshire, on the Welsh border and I've been on MFP for a week. I'm 59 yo and pretty much a lifelong exercise-phobe. I've decided to go down the Nutri-blast route, in an effort to train my taste buds to like veggies and fruit more than carbs and sugar!! I was delighted to lose 7lbs in my first week but I…
-
Just a quick update to the above.....a) I lost SEVEN lbs!! (And yes, I know that's too much, even for my first week, so I have upped my daily calories a smidgen...but still can't help being delighted ;) ) b) the Vegan Shepherd's Pie was really yummy....and I had to tell the rest of the community it was low calorie!! Check…

Many thanks! ;)

Oh - and...if sugar is a carb, does that mean it is already included in the carbs total? Thanks for your help!
-
Yup, you're right, Kommodevaran - it's carbs/fat/protein I was talking about!!! But Sodium and Sugar show on my daily goal - and I have sugar set at 33 and sodium set at 1500? I rarely go anywhere near my sodium levels, but sugar is a potential 'red' awaiting me!!
-
Wow! Are you able to talk me through creating a keyboard shortcut in Safari? It's rubbish that MFP haven't reinstated the automatic feature (and yet it still allows you to set it?!).
-
That's interesting! I have no idea how many nutrients are lost by cooking, but thank you!

I didn't know either, so I went to 'Help' and found the following: On the Web - Username or Email address Log into your account on our website at http://www.myfitnesspal.com. Mobile app users should log in using the same username and password they use in the app. Click the "Community" tab, then click "Find Member." Fill in…

I would also do your best to stay clear of meat and dairy - and not just because of the animal rights issues! All the chemicals that are fed to the animals to boost their production and keep them 'healthy' (?) find their way into our own bodies, whatever processes the meat/dairy goes through after their death. Obviously,…

Hello - I'm also new to this group and, whilst my enthusiasm is 'right up there' at the moment, I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some encouragement a little way down the line!! I have been vegetarian for a number of years and am now a 'VeHo' (Vegan at home - it's so much more difficult when out and about!). I live in…
-
Hi Kommodevaran - You're absolutely right about Buddhism being all about moderation and balance! It's also about 'right effort' and, knowing myself reasonably well (and knowing that I need to lose weight), I am trying to reduce my cravings for the rubbish food and introduce enjoyment for the healthy (not necessarily…

Hi Ready2Rock, cbelc, Lounmoun and andyluvv - Thanks for adding your comments to this post - I do indeed weigh everything carefully (including the liquids) and - yesterday, at least - I was under my calorie goal, probably because I swapped all meals for a blast. I live in a community and we eat together in the evenings,…
