My mother in law is the same way, my wife and I have both lost weight on mpf and we tell her its easy as cico, then goes on to say it doesn't work and she couldn't do it because its too hard, and counting calories didn't work when she tried it. !#$@#$@#$ so frustrating, I get your pain, better to just converse about the…

reset the band. plug it into the charger then hold the button down for 30 seconds. The band will reset and then reboot your phone and start. This happened to me once when i couldn't get it to sync and this is how i fixed it.

I lost 19 lbs in my first month, then slowed down to my projected 12 lbs. Initial loss is water and fat. It is great motivation to lose that much the first month though!!!!

I started one of the new Adventures in Fitbit and it was 15,000 steps. I had got half way there by work's end and decided to just finish it out, i ended up with 16,000 steps last night to finish it in one day! Usually i would have sat at home and watched a movie.

Keep it up, I've went 19 days without a scale budge, actually went up 3 pounds. I was at a 1500 cal deficit and started to walk more, then over the course of 3-5 days i lost 7 pounds. Just keep at it, you can do it. Its a daily grind, but a good one.

Good advice. The only thing is with like stir fry, I don't weigh out my portion of each vegetable, but the whole vegetable that goes in the dish and calculate the entire stirfry at say 1300 calories, then I weigh it when cooked and divide that by how many calories in the entire dish and get say 1.4 cal/gram and then I put…

I switched from regular soda to all diet soda and soda water with 0 calories. And I've lost 43 pounds in 96 days. So I'm pretty sure its a myth.

Thanks for the insight.

That is a great link, that will help. I was doing just quick add calories once i added up the entire meal since it had like 10-20 ingredients including sauce and oil and meat, so it was simpler that way. Maybe i will just start logging each individually, im already looking them up online, wouldn't take any longer to log i…

1 tbls = .5oz. So 1 oz would equal 2 tbls. Used google to figure out the exchange rate.

I see that you logged Cholula hot sauce at 90 calories. Cholula is 0 calories, make sure to get the correct entry.

The only calories i drink is creamer in my morning coffee. Anything else just ruins my day. Id rather eat 200 calories than have a soda. I switched to the flavored soda water's They have a bunch of flavors and a 2 liter costs $0.88. And i drink a ton of black tea iced.

Try eating the flavored yogurts. Lower calories, but have the same taste. Might be an option.

I want to buy a kayak and start fishing in it. I've been over 300 for a while and I think at my goal of 200 I will be comfortable in a kayak.
-
My mini goal is 20 more pounds, I have lost 40 so far, and 20 more gets me out of the 300's forever! Then I still have a long way to go, but that's my first goal. I've never lost more than 20, but this time is different, im so motivated and focused, and i've lost 40 lbs in 90 days! so I know I can do this.

Me and my wife are both losing weight, but we eat way differently. I eat 3 solid meals and one small snack after work. She snacks throughout the day and eats light for breakfast and lunch. She has chips and snacks and everything she likes and I buy what I like for a snack. Just do you, don't worry about your spouse. On my…

I always stay under my goal of 2000, but make sure i eat at least 1750. I have went over twice due to some big family meals, but then i would go take a 30 minute walk afterwards to make up for it.

I was driving all day yesterday and was white knuckling some construction zone 80 mph driving, well my heart rate got up into the fat burn zone. When i got home my fitbit told me i could eat 2800 extra calories for being in my heart rate zone for a while. So uhh, be careful of that if you have a heart rate monitor. Theres…

I do this when i know were going to have a family dinner at a parents house, which is usually 800-1000 calories. Its great food, so i skimp on breakfast and lunch and leave myself 1300 calories for dinner and enjoy it but stay under my goals.
-
I eat 400 breakfast, 500 lunch, by the time i get home i have 1100 calories left. Me and the wife decide whats for dinner and i will guesstimate (pre log, adjust oz or grams) dinner. Dinner is usually 500-600 cal. Then i save the rest for snacks. I make sure to get to 1700, and some days leave it at that, some days i go…

Buy a water bottle and carry It with you like your wallet. I take mine everywhere, its always full, always with me and I drink 3-6 32 oz bottles a day. Having one at your work place where you can take a sip anytime you want is helpful, then refill on break.

They are selling PB2 at Winco in the bullk section. I tried some and it taste's like peanut butter. On days I'm under 1500 cal I have some with some Soy Milk and adds 18g protein to my diet and gets me up 170 cal. If you have it at your winco just buy a small portion to try first. Edit to add link…

Two months ago, I had a pair of jeans I had to button before pulling up and they were so tight. Sunday I took the kids to youth group and put my pants on over my gym shorts. Well they fell off and I needed a belt, even with the gym shorts underneath.
